We've had a great experience at Oakmont of Valenicia. It is like the Cadillac of facilities (and we've seen quite a few). We feel like Mom is getting excellent care there.

At this facility, ALL of the staff are very friendly and always greet residents with a smile and they know each of our names. I am always pleased with my once per week cleaning of my apartment and the staff are always dependable and thorough. The dining room staff are always friendly and they work very hard to remember each resident's likes and dislikes.

I work for Hospice and frequently visit this facility. Let me be the one to tell you how wonderful the staff and facility here are. They always strive to provide top-quality service and care to every resident and their family. Everyone I see always has a smile on their face and shows so much compassion. I highly recommend, Sunrise of Bonita.

Ivy Park at Bradford is a great facility, with amazing staff, fantastic meals and really enjoyable activities and the value for cost can't be beat in my area. Yes, I would highly recommend... they have piano concerts 2-3 times a week, jeopardy, daily happy hour, lecturers, great age appropriate movies and documentaries, jewelry and clothing sales onsite from local artists monthly, onsite Riverdance show and band with bagpipes on St Patrick Day, huge Easter brunch this past Sat that lasted nearly all day with an Easter Bunny and egg hunt for family that visited, free for residents and a reasonable [fee removed] a head for family that joined in...just a wide variety of activities. A great deal of thought to keep the people happy where they live. They are extremely high energy and friendly and you feel that when you go there...everyone smiling and saying Hi.

Our 94 year old mother could no longer live on her own and our family chose Ivy Park in San Juan Capistrano. From our first visit the administration and staff treated us with kindness and compassion. It was not an easy decision to place our mother in an assisted living facility, but the staff welcomed Mom with open arms and made sure that she and family, understood that all her needs could and would be taken care of. Her apartment is bright, sunny and comfortable. There are activities daily, wellness checks and many other services to insure that all their residents have availability to. For anyone contemplating placing a family member or loved one in an assisted living facility I highly recommend Ivy Park in San Juan Capistrano.

Our story began in 2020, when my brother & I decided that our Mom, who lived alone in a huge house, needed in-home care. We had a two hour evaluation done in December, which determined exactly what we had been telling our Mom for several years. She should not be living alone. Then in 2021, we tried again, with the help of our longtime family lawyer [name removed]. By 2022, after going through one obstacle after another, a beautiful place called Santianna in Carlsbad was about to open. As our Mom's POA, I was there for the grand opening, which was truly amazing. Finally, it was time to bring Mom to Santianna for a tour. When our Mom walked in, we could tell right away she was captivated, not only by the beauty of her surroundings, but also by their very gracious and helpful welcoming team. We knew right then, we had finally found a very special place for our Mom. Now she has a gorgeous studio apartment, many friends, a wide range of activities, amazing meals and a staff who truly cares about her.

We met with Sunrise first. The staff at Sunrise were extremely nice!! I think it was [name removed] who did the tour. She was extremely helpful. Took her time to explain everything. We ended up not choosing them because it felt to nursing home style. While he would have had some freedom we just felt it wouldn't have been his style. My FIL isn't to that yet.

Beautiful Brand New Community with Happy Staff So helpful in helping us search many communities as they wanted us to be sure. We chose this community for the professionalism up to the decision and then even more solidified when we moved in. Staff is always happy and helpful. They say "This is your home and we are just guests here to help"

My loved one is a resident of Oakmont of Riverpark. The staff here is great! Housekeeping cleans and does the laundry. The meals are good. Oakmont of Riverpark has been a great place for my loved one.

For what it is worth I LOVE the place A Place For Mom found me, which is Oakmont of Pacific Beach here in San Diego no wonder I had to wait six month to get apartment I wanted it is excellent!!!!! I couldn't be more thrilled with Oakmont. When I came to tour it was just unbelievable and a bell rang in my head telling me this was the right place - I knew I had to have this place. It is right by the beach, and I love the layout of my apartment. This place is just great.

We chose Oakmont of Brookside because of the cleanliness, friendliness, and the location/distance of the facility from my own home. I would tell others looking that the staff works well with the loved ones family for an easy transition into the facility.

I visited Sunrise Palos Verdes recently to consider them for my Mom. When we arrived we were warmly greeted by the concierge, and a cute sign was posted welcoming us by name. Every single person we met introduced themselves and asked about my Mom, I was impressed by how genuine they were. The seniors were playing blackjack, my Mom would have joined them if she had been with me! We could smell something they were cooking in the kitchen, it smelled delicious. We noticed how clean everything was, and we also appreciated that they aren't ridiculously grand and opulent like some of the others we've visited in the area. It's an elegant, tasteful place that feels like home.

I had an excellent experience with them from start to finish and I would recommend them to anyone. They were definitely my right choice. Unfortunately, my mother passed away shortly after she arrived there so I can't speak to the meals. I can speak to the communication. They were always transparent and informative. There was always someone to answer any questions we had concerning her. I was able to see how the staff interacted with the patients. Very caring, patient, and respectful.

The main reason we chose Ivy Park at Burbank to begin with was because the location of the facility is very close to my house and her doctors as well. Everyone is friendly and caring. The staff are very helpful to both the resident and the family. They kept the family aware of the residents situation. I am very grateful to Ivy Park for the care given to my mother.

Sunrise at Bonita is a wonderful place! We are very Thankful for their service. Employees have good stability, most of them have been there for years and that is important to us! We chose this community because it's smaller. My mother in law has made friends and feels very comfortable with all the staff. They offer activities such as; Games, exercise classes and happy hour on Friday's. I would recommend to other families.

All 5 stars, Ivy Park was great. We chose this facility over other we had looked at because more residents were actually in the common areas doing things. Living. A lot of places we went to, the common areas were a ghost town. I would tell others that Ivy Park may not be the fanciest, but the care is exceptional and people visiting, don't seem unhappy to be seeing their loved ones.

Ivy Park at Santa Rosa is the best facility out of all of the ones that we saw. The facility has lots of light and cozy spaces to sit and read or have a conversation. The food is great. The staff engages the residents in activities. There are several pianos and weekly music performances. A trail by a creek for walks with locals walking their dogs. Not a better facility for the price.

Our family had an in person tour with Sunrise at Wood Ranch and overall it was a very nice tour experience, we would of probably picked this community for our loved one but just due to location it wasn't going to work but the price was good.

I liked everything about the community. It turns out that my loved one wasn't a fit for their assisted living after the community's assessment they did on my loved one.

My mom passed away last week. This facility was great. Professional, efficient, warm, kind, caring, great communication. And well....I just sent them over 300 Mrs. Field's cookies and brownies and I wish I could give them all a spa day. I made friends there and so did mom. And I think Memory Care is most challenging. They rose to it.
