We have had no complaints at all. My father in law loves the food, you get a menu to choose from and the entrees change daily. They do always have some particular menu items at all times if you do not like what is being served. The staff are all super accommodating and treat the extended family very well. I have been so impressed with how thoughtful they are. I think they are doing the best that they can with the activities provided. They have lots of exercise classes, a walking class, happy hours, etc. I do think that it would be nice to have more entertainment coming in. I would definitely recommend Sunrise of Alta Loma to others looking.

My mother spent her final 3 years at Cottages of Carmel. The facility is new, immaculate, and well equipped. It is centrally located and close to stores, restaurants and coffee shops. But what really sets it apart is the warm, caring and compassionate administration and staff. My mother loved the caregivers and med techs, and had close relationships with other residents. There is a wide variety of activities and events, and she particularly enjoyed the daily walks and the group exercise classes. Weekly excursions such as scenic drives and shopping outings were a big hit. If you are looking for a safe, loving environment with many activities, Cottages of Carmel is the place! Highly recommended!

The facility itself is beautiful and the staff have been great, I had both my parents in here and my mother passed away last week. The staff here were amazing at handling at everything. My dad has said that he would like a little bit more variety in the activities, maybe some more outdoor activities since they have a gorgeous courtyard. They do take the residents to parks and Saturday they will take them to the grocery store. I have eaten here a few times and I think they charge way too much for what they are serving. It is very expensive and it is a lot of add on fees.

My mother is in assisted living and based on the information we had at the time we went to memory care and that is not what my mother needed . The tour was very good and they even gave a gift bag at the end of the tour.

We loved the community. There was a waiting list, and we needed something faster.

Oakmont of Santa Clarita is a very vibrant community and a nice place for the people who live there. I'm there visiting all the time so I do get to speak to the staff in person about any issues or updates. in addition to that, they send out a monthly newsletter via email that highlights the activities for the month, amongst other things. they are definitely not over staffed, I would say there's just enough staff for the amount of residents. they do offer transportation to appointments and stores, and it is included in the monthly cost. overall I especially like the assurance of knowing its a safe environment and they seem very caring.

I can't tell you how good and relieved I feel having my mom here. We were nervous about the move and how my mom would take it, but they knew exactly how to handle it and made her feel right at home. When I call her she's telling me about her day rather than complaining of aches and pains (which have mysteriously subsided now that she's around more people)...Hardworking care team, fun and lively leadership. No place is perfect, but you get through everything together like a true family.

A loved one has lived here for over a year. She loves the activities as well as the food. The central Pacific Beach location also makes it easy to find reliable dog walkers.

I would say to join into this community. It is a great place to be and the people are friendly. The staff step out of their way to take care of you and do a good job at it. They have activities like bingo, Spanish classes, crosswords trivia and more for the residents to do to have a good time. They also have ping pong and a pool for the residents to stay busy.

They do a great job with my loved one and I would recommend it.

It's a beautiful place. They give you one on one care. It is quite expensive but you get what you pay for.

We would recommend it definitely. It has been a very good experience for us and my Mom. Worth taking a look at. For anyone in the market, check this out. Housekeeping comes every two weeks. Laundry services are provided. They do allow pets. This location has 3 floors. If you need additional services, they can be added for a price. Transportation is provided for residents to doctors appointments as well as trips to the stores, etc. The residents are friendly. The staff are warm and welcoming. My loved one was at a different independent living place for 10 years before moving here and this place is much better than her previous place.

Our family had an in person tour and Oakmont is a beautiful facility, we had no complaints with anything we saw on the tour. The were were great and super information. You could tell they really new how to showcase their place and dive in deep to everything they have to offer. Great from a management and sales point of view. However it was just to expensive for us.

We absolutely love Oakmont, everything that has come from this community has just been fantastic. The staff are so understanding when it comes to our loved one and her issues. At times she can be very difficult and they have so much patience with her. They are just so kind to her and the other residents. It is hard for her to love things and she now has been in assisted living and memory care and she loves them both. Every worker that goes by from the management team to house keeping and maintenance, they are always smiling, interacting with the residents and striking up conversations. We cannot image a better place, we have no complaints. The food has been great, the place is always clean. It is such a social life. Once a week they get to take the residents out to different restaurants and different sightseeing.

This is more affordable than any of the other communities I visited. I'm not sure how they can keep their costs down when other communities aren't. The only reason for the lower rating on the cleanliness is they could do a better job at checking supplies in the bathroom, and cleaning of the floor. The staff are excellent to work with and I'm impressed with everyone I have worked with. The caregivers are amazing! There are approximately 26 residents in the memory care unit. The staff are kind, patient, and respectful towards the residents., this includes when the residents are needing to be fed, or cared for. The community is able to assist my loved one with their medication management, hygiene, and bathing. Laundry, housekeeping, all meals and the room are included in the monthly fee. Nature videos, music, outside entertainment, ring toss, cornhole, bingo, arts and crafts, and more are some of the activities that the residents can choose from to participate in. The quality of food in memory care is not the same as in assisted living. Some of the meals arrive colder than they should be. The food could be cut smaller for the memory care residents. The meals are well balanced though.

This is a wonderful place to live, and I think you would be happy here. The staff are very friendly and still it is a fairly new community. It feels like a family, as it is a newer community and we aren't fully occupied yet. Housekeeping, changing of the linens, meals, room and more are included in the monthly fee. Some of the activities available are movies, bingo, card games, outdoor activities, and more for the residents to choose from. There isn't a bus driver so we can't use the transportation, I'm hopeful this will change soon. Each room is equipped with a washer and dryer in the unit and a full kitchen.

Nice but the price to move in is way too high of $10,000.

This is a beautiful building with very nice staff. It is having some new building issues at the time and they are still working through things. They have activities like bingo, music, seated travel where they watch movies about other places. They have movie nights also where they show movies but it tends to start a little late at night for the residents. They also have garden club, bible study, karaoke, arts and crafts and more. They sometimes have excursions out in the community but this happens rarely.

This was a nice community just not as nice of a building as we were looking for. The leadership was great and the tours were awesome this just did not work out for my loved one.

I loved the tour at Oakmont of Lodi. I was very pleased with them, as was the case with the other facilities I toured as well. Our final decision came down to location. We chose closest proximity to a family member.
