Options For Senior America

We searched online by filling a form and we received information from several services. We contacted different agencies and ended up choosing Options because of the rating and the reviews and because of the type of home care service they provide. Their staff is caring, very efficient, willing to accommodate. The beginning of the service was challenging but now it's good and smooth. The corporate staff is professional, assertive, and responsive to unforeseen incidents of caregivers.

Originally we started out needing someone during the day a few days a week. Then I needed someone in the evening a couple days a week as well. They weren't as able to take care of the evening shift. A couple of the people who were supposed to come didn't show. But Options as a company are very responsive. They really tried to work out that evening shift for us, but I ended up having to go to another agency for the evening shift. For the most part, my needs were satisfied with Options. It was only when I added an additional requirement that they couldn't accommodate, but it wasn't for lack of them trying. And I'm very satisfied with them. I kept them for the day shift. I've had two different caretakers. The first one was very good and stayed with us a long time. I considered her a family member. She was great with my loved one, she cooked, and she tried to get us on a healthy diet. It was good fit. The second person is very good as well, just different. Each person has different types of things they focus on. She calls us sir and ma'am. If she sees me going to the laundry, she says no sir, I'll take care of that. They've both been very good but have different skill sets.

We chose Options for Senior America because we had very few options for someone who would live in permanently, so that was the main reason we went with them. The first caregiver they sent us was not a good fit at all, the second one they sent us has worked out for our family. I would tell others that it is not the agency that matters, it is the person that they send.

The branch office response has been quick and has met expectations. We appreciate the caregiver's service. She is reliable, compassionate and has a great attitude. The quality assurance visits are OK.

The Social worker at the Nursing Center gave us a list of agencies to call. We called a few but Options had the most positive and informative response. We started services in August for 7 days a week. Everything was good and everybody was helpful. A couple of mistakes were made . I called them and it was corrected immediately. Overall experience has been good.

[Name Removed] and her team are wonderful to work with and responsive. We've used them for coverage of my mother on weekdays for almost two years. Her staff are infinitely better than those for other vendors I've used for the same service. It is worth contacting them to explore how they might be able to support you and your loved one(s).

This is for in-home care, not a residential option. [Removed] is great. He's very knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. He answers every question you may have and anticipates ones you have not even though of! My mom has been receiving in home care for about a month. The aides are good. My only complaint is that it is difficult to get information on what the aides are doing during the visits. I had to make my own checklist for them to use.

My dad has said multiple times that he was content with the care that the caregivers had provided him with at this community. They where helpful to his recovery and maintained professional in there work. They where on time to appointments and made sure to keep in good communication with the family.

When we first started using the Options For Senior America, the first lady was not very good. After we brought up the issue, they sent out a new caregiver and she was much better. She took very good care of my mother and made it a good experience for her.

I am happy with this service. They were able to send me a good care taker who comes to my home and help with the need for my mom. I like that she is always on time. I like that she is helping with the personal care that is needed. She is always trying to help be a companion for my mom. I would recommend this service to other families needing good in home care for a loved one..

At first, we were not too happy with the way things were going. My mother got a new caregiver and the new one has been much better. We asked for her to write down whenever she is there and she is doing it. I haven't heard any complaints.

We like mom's caregiver she is personable. She helps mom not only with her personal needs but is also a good companion. When we set up the service the owner came out to the house and listened to what we were looking for. They made setting up the service easy.

I like this service for my father. The care taker was always on time to care for my father. They helped with personal needs. I would recommend this service for others needing to have someone in there home. This care taker was a excellent choice for my father's needs. And we were very happy with the care he received.

They have done a good job, and we continue to use their services. We haven't had any issues with reliablility, everyone has shown up on time, and we haven't had any complaints so far.

This is a great in home care for great care. The aid that comes to our home is always on time and is always a great help with meals and everything my wife is needing. We are paying for excellent services and would recommend this service to others who need excellent care for anyone.
