My sister has done well at the facility. -I think overall-good experience. -Always seems clean. -I think she feels staff is friendly. -She does not need any care from staff-except housekeeping. -She is not always keen on their meals but thankfully she has the ability to cook for her self. -She really does not take part in activities. -As her family we feel the cost is worth the peace of mind we have-compared to her previous living situation.

The staff is very personable and genuinely seems to care about the residents and their families. The size of the facility is perfect for Mom because it allows her to walk around but not get lost. More fresh fruit and vegetables in the menu would be good. If they could add supervised activities on the weekend, that would also be an improvement.

Good facilities, Great people. Only downer is lack of internet/cable not included mom says food is "OK"

Food was mediocre at best, often badly organized Care was minimal, we were on our own Activities were minimal Room repairs were done quickly Admin staff was pretty MIA after we arrived

The Plains is a great facility with terrific staff and excellent care of your loved ones.

We chose Georgetown Place because of location, price, amenities, the structure itself and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I do worry about the consistency of services for my mom. Not sure everything is being provided in the manner I was led to expect. So sometimes I do question them on whether certain things are being done correctly. But overall, my mother and I are happy with our choice and her living environment.

Overall, we had a very good experience. My mom was only there a couple of months. The staff was great, the facility is very clean. The overall value is the best around. We looked at a number of places in the surrounding area and would definitely recommend Waterford. My mom only did a few activities, but we felt there were good opportunities. She was so/so on eating period, so my rating on the food may be skewed.

My husband and I have lived here now for 15 months. All the residents seem happy and we enjoy being with people our own age. We appreciate the free transportation they give us to our many clinic appointment and shopping. This is a comfortable home.

Mom has been in the community for two plus years and we have enjoyed every aspect other than the food. She hasn't required much care until recently when she went on hospice. Much to my surprise the care team has gone above and beyond for us. Not too sure where it will go with the recent New executive director.

With the food, there was a minimum choice or variety, bland, one size fits all, frequently not appealing in look or smell, seldom matched published menu We picked this community because they were 2nd closest to his home,

The room choices, sizes and prices are well organized. [name removed] was a pleasure to work with. She is easily available and answers calls promptly. The facility is a little old but they are always working to update and upgrade it. The only complaint we really have is the food could be better.

I would recommend it. My Dad and his wife don't attend any activities and I don't think they encourage them. Otherwise it's good

I have lived here for 8 1/2 years and has met many really good friends. The staff here are all very friendly and nice people! I do feel they could do a much better job of cleaning all the hallways!

The biggest issue is the food. My children worked at Amberleigh when they were in high school. They were properly dressed and trained. There were 2 menu items every night plus alternate choices. Now the menu consists of lots of pasta, ground beef and chicken legs. The dining room runs out of things. Sometimes coffee and milk! There are several stores a stone's throw away. The food budget has been cut. The cook has to make do with what they have. My mom says it's getting better. She is an eternal optimist! She says the people ( residents) are what makes the place great. Also her apartment is lovely!

Mom has not been this happy in decades. She has met lots of friends, enjoys most of the scheduled and random activities especially concerts, and is so relieved as am I to have therapy for her various physical issues at hand throughout the week.

We moved here after looking into several places. It was a perfectly sized apt for our neeeds, plus they allow pets! 3 meals a day are included, and light housekeeping is provided. There are plenty opportunities to get involved in all kinds of fun! We liked the location as we are close to family! It is easy to reach everything one needs nearby! The one downside is our street, Glenview Dr., is under msssive construction! Noise and dust are sometimes an issue, but bearable? There is a "store," beauty salon, private dining area, several common areas, a physical therapist, a parlor, large fron and back porch seating areas! An Activities Director is onsite, along with a nurse! We have much less "work" to do than living in and maintaining a house, so much more relaxed time is appreciated! I heartily recommend the Wellington for anyone looking to downsize and relax with new friends!

My parent really needed this, and it has been a very great experience. They need to get some better food though. The kitchen staff is great, but the food that they have to work with is not. I love the activities the have.

Clean facility from thevmoment you walk in the door. Friendly residents and staff. The facility is well maintained and the food is good. Overall, good experience with the staff at movein and the residents seem friendly and active.

The staff is great, however they are short staffed and overworked. There is a high degree of staff turnover, which is very concerning. The meals seems to be inconsistent. My mom likes some of the meals but says the "hot" meals are often cold by the time they are served. My mom is taking advantage of and enjoying the wide variety of activities. The activities coordinators are wonderful. It's a nice apartment rather than simply a single room, which makes it very homey and comfortable. The transportation to medical appointments is a big help and the driver (name removed) is wonderful.
