It is a great place to live. The staff is the best! The only concern mom has had is that they do not serve enough 'soft' foods in the dining room for supper--important since she has few teeth. Housekeeping has struggled at times because of the supply of people willing to work but we understand that.

The facility was always clean. The staff was always very friendly and very helpful. Mom participated in activities. It is worth the money, considering that they provide a lot. They worked with each person individually. They accommodated needs as needed. They will work with your family on the cost. They always keep you in the loop. It's a good team to work with, from the top all the way to the bottom.

They are very good with mom. I love the staff. They have a great variety of food. They have tons of activities. She does not participate in activities but they have a happy hour and she gets there. They have entertainment and appetizers. The cost compared to before is much better. I would suggest that other familes, look around and do research. Overall, they would be very pleased with the atmosphere and friendliness of the staff.

They are wonderful staff. Mom likes the food. She engages in bingo, exercise classes, arts/crafts. She enjoys all activities. They also have a movie theatre. They notified residents about a rent increase. Overall, the staff is absolutely wonderful. The director just retired but they are so professional and helpful. They call my mom by name, and they call my sister and I by name. Not sure how they remember it. Also, they give kudos on how wonderful mom is.

I have told everyone what my dad has told me, he loves it! I have felt like it has been such a great decision for both dad and me! I have been able to visit most days and see him, still go out to eat and hang out but not have guilt when I make plans for myself. The staff is amazing-kind and friendly, but attentive and perceptive! I love how bright and clean it is! I would recommend this place for anyone who wants the best for their parent !!!!

We really liked Silver Glen, it is actually the sister facility to the place that we chose for our loved one. At Silver Glen the rooms are bigger and the facility itself is only about a year old so it is newer and updated. The only reason we did not choose them was due to the locaiton. The other facility was closer to us and to my loved ones doctors.

Burr Ridge is a great place to be; but it is for-profit. It's all private pay, and they don't do anything for free. So one little thing, and you'll get billed for it. The staff I've interacted with have been great and the communication has been pretty good. Overall I would recommend them to others.

Everything sees to be going really good so far, given everything that is offered and the other surrounding communities the value is good. We have not had a meal there ourselves but our loved one seems to be happy with them. The activities on the memory care side are a little to light. However based on our overall experience so far with Palmilla Senior Living we would recommend them to other families.
