Good Mid-Size Community Apt.,Staff seems Very Friendly,Residents seem Very Happy & Activities Provided.Close Prox.to Mom if Dad was staying on his own at first....Lacking- Washer&Dryer in room,Mid Size Apt. Rms. and not many units have balconies except !st floor units,Flooded Lobby Area & 1st Floor Areas during HUGE storm.

This facility was nice. There was a musty smell in the hallways, but the rooms were nice. I'm a little confused on the pricing however. Are meals included?

Even though we had a scheduled tour, no one knew we were coming. However, we were welcomed and showed around anyway. The center is clean with very bright lighting, which is great. The residents we saw were well dressed, groomed, and well attended. I especially liked the library area and the outdoor spaces. My only negative was the very small closets in the rooms. This facility is definitely on my list as a possibility for my mother.

We toured this community when we were looking into care options for our loved one. This was a very nice looking community. They had a LOT of activities going on, it seemed like it would be a great place for a more active senior. It was also one of the more expensive options we looked at, however.

When my loved one first moved in we had made arrangements for certain things to happen, that we were paying for, and some of them didn’t happen. That is my complaint, that things we had agreed on had not been provided. Things have been worked out now though. For the target population, I think the activities are good. Overall I think it’s a really good community and they do try really hard.

Good service. Recent updated kitchen facilities. Its like a park inside Colorado Springs. Mom feel at home in after one week.

I guess the one issue is that a lot of times the nursing staff isn’t completely up to date on the status of the patient – or the mix up the patients. My father seems to like the food. There is enough parking.

They’re an excellent value for the money. We’re very happy with them. The staff has been great and it’s a clean and safe environment.

Beautiful place but living quarters are too small and it's costly.

The girl was really nice and took a lot of time with us – but there were some comments that were a little competitive with the other Emeritus that set us on edge. It was absolutely beautiful. It was bigger – to me – it felt nice, but it didn’t feel as much family as the one we went with.

The food is terrible. There is enough parking. The laundry services are good – that would be a five. The food could have more variety. The portions are too small for my tastes. The staff could stand to be a little more friendly.

The campus was beautiful. There were lots of people coming and going. People looked happy. It is a large campus. At one point I got a little turned around.The apartments were nice. They had a full kitchen which I loved. They did not have a higher level of nursing care or memory floor.

The facility is very modern clean and inviting. The staff is very caring and concerned about their residents. As compared to other facilities, it is a little more expensive. The apartments are nice sized and well laid out. They have levels of care based on the needs of the resident. From no care (retirement living) to multiple services daily as well as memory care. Although my mother has sought out activities such as game playing with other residents, there could be more planned or scheduled activities to involve residents that would like to be social but are not as outgoing. The one thing that was touted as being very good was the food. But, this is something my mother feels could definitely be better. There are a lot of choices and they will make just about anything that is requested. The cooking and dining hall staff seems to have a lot of turnover for which consistency is lacking but not compromised. Overall, from my perspective, this is the perfect place for my mother. I feel she is comfortable and well cared for. I do not have to worry about her and know her needs are addressed and I am informed if she needs additional attention or if they see an issue.

We didn’t really need a lot of care. The activities are great! If the residents develop a need for a higher level of care – they can’t provide it – they’re not certified for it. For independent living, assisted living, they’re okay. They are unable to provide a lot of care.

Good food, excellent staff, Stormie Ferruccio is the best! I met the nurse in charge of care when I come alone as a snow bird and feel comfortable doing so in 2015.

Very nice facilities - pretty much everything that we need, but also very pricey. Tracy Norris very heelpful - gave us some good information. If money were no object this would be the place to go.

Also liked this facility...very close to my work also.

The staff at Hunters' Glen was helpful, explained available services and worked well with Hospice.

For assisted living and memory care this is a smaller, cozier facility. Very comfortable feeling and nice location. Feels more like a home then a retirement center.
