It's been a great experience. I think it's a great option for senior living. They were amazingly accommodating on how quickly they got us moved in. Touring and signing all happened in a matter of a couple of days, and they really came through for us. The general day to day common spaces are very clean. Since we moved in very last minute and the apartment had been vacant for a couple of months, there were quite a few cobwebs and dead bugs and some stains on the toilet seat. But they got right on it for us, and things have been good since. And we appreciate that they were able to accommodate that quick move-in turnaround for us. My parents have been pleasantly surprised with the food. The manager and admissions were all extremely friendly, helpful, and compassionate. The daily staff are always friendly, happy, and smiley. And the residents seem to have a good time there. The floor plans are all very decent. They have plenty of space to live in and make it your own. I can easily understand why people would want to live there for a long time.

I feel very confident in her security and she is taken very good care of. She is going to be 100 years old and love Independence Village. I like it here, there is lots to do to keep me out of trouble. I like all of the snacks they have, they are always fresh. The girls are nice and like to have fun.
My family could not have asked for a better experience in working with [name removed]. He diligently worked with my brother, [name removed], in coordinating moving my mother from Montana to Michigan into the Briarwood Assisted Living. My mother was met at the airport and totally welcomed and cared for and we are satisfied with the accommodations and care my mother is experiencing. My mother is happy, also. [name removed] went the extra mile without meeting my brother and negotiating over the phone only. [name removed] was supportive, available, patient and helpful. The relief we feel having her settled and cared for is immense considering the task of setting the estate and selling the house from far away.

Everything with StoryPoint has been a 5+, everything is truly amazing at the community. Our first impression of the place was amazing, we cannot talk highly enough about StoryPoint. Our loved one came from another facility so we have something to compare it to, and it is just a great place. The meals and dining service is a 10+.
