The facility is large and cheerful. There are large gathering rooms for entertainment, with large libraries that have TVs if residents want to watch a movie or ballgame together. These promote socialization. The staff is very friendly. I hear the StoryPoint in Bolingbrook is as good or better, but maybe more expensive. You should take a tour!

The friendliness and courtesy of staff to residents and family members/ cleanliness of facility/ the good tasting food and the bright and airy rooms with large windows that let in lots of light. We would recommend Independent Villages levels of living from Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Care to any of our family, friends, and neighbors!

I highly recommended Danbury as an assisted living facility. My mother loves being there and is very grateful for the care she receives. The staff is well trained, very polite, and always responsive to the needs of my mother and to our family. Their facility is new, very colorful, well maintained, and a pleasure to visit.

I visit residents here frequently and have dinner and do activities with them. The food is always good and a great variety. They always try to vary what they are serving. They plan group activities and residents plan activities on their own. You can be involved as much as you want to be. I really like how friendly the residents and staff are with each other. I would recommend this place to anyone.

So much thought has gone into here. They truly care about everyone that comes through the door. From the love they put into the food to the thought they put into the amazing activities and field trips. This is hands down a wonderful place that has been their heart and soul into each and every resident.

Friendly and genuinely caring staff! Residents enjoy constant activities and receive lots of kind and personal attention. I drop by at all hours and always feel welcome and always find a well kept environment with smiling residents who seem to really enjoy each other. My mom loves the food. My expectations have been exceeded and I feel like this residence is a hidden gem! Truly exceptional staff. Every one of them. My mom is in the best place!

Out of 7 visits, this was absolutely the best overall at the skill, People..[name removed] went way over ; beyond, so genuineness, clean and great modeling.

The Danbury is filled with awesome people from [name removed], the executive director, to [name removed](both you can question and answer freely about Danbury and if is it is right for your loved one) as was as [name removed], the head nurse. [name removed] and I have talked on numerous occasions and had been a tremendous blessing and a wealth of knowledge for my dad and his situation. The staff who see to the daily needs of the individuals is second to none! They do an awesome job of caring for the individuals, my dad happens to be one that needs more direction as he suffers from dementia and is in the memory care area! They have activity coordinators, and a wealth of other beneficial options (nurse care practitioner on site weekly/hair cutting options on site/work out area on site (rehab for those who need it) and a host of other things! I labored for months taking care of my dad because in my mind, nobody could do a better job! However, I was wrong! Give Danbury a chance and reach out to [name removed] or [name removed]!

StoryPoint of Grand Rapids is top notch! The professionalism, the second you walk into the door is over the top - very welcoming. Extremely clean facilities. The food is out of this world! I'd also like to mention all of the inclusion and events that they host for the guests are so much fun! Great place, five STARS!

Awesome Community! The care the residents receive at this facility is top notch. They have fun and amazing activities for the residents daily. The food menu is well planned and they have a great selection. Rooms are laid out nicely and spacious!

My client is very happy at Southwick Village. The happiest I've ever seen him. The people who live there are very friendly and the staff is awesome..im glad I gave them a second look. I loved this pace and wish my father-in-law would have stayed. The only reason he left is because he wanted to be home, nothing wrong with the place. I would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience so far.

I'm a musician and perform regularly at many senior living communities throughout West Michigan. This gives me a unique view and opportunity to make some comparisons. What I notice about Story Point Grand Rapids is the very healthy, relaxed culture. The residents seem happy and the interaction between staff and residents is upbeat, warm and genuine. I would be very comfortable to have any of my loved ones be a part of this community!

The entire staff, from the top down, exhibit a caring, positive attitude. The food service and quality are excellent. It is menu ordered and not repetitive.

After a smooth transition into his new apartment- my dad is thriving at Danbury. He is more active and eating so much better. [name removed] and [name removed] cooking is amazing!!! Really, it is!! All that work there had his name memorized the first day and ours as well. Once he got on their schedule- housecleaning and laundry are awesome for him. We are very pleased and know he is safe.

Staff is fabulous and caring. There is an amazing array of activities to choose from. The residents are nice and welcoming. Food is great. Apartments are LOVELY and modern. It's a wonderful place.

Right now dining experience is not the best but hoping it will get better.the staff is great and activities are good.
