Our family was in crises and needed a place for our stepdad pretty quickly due to our Mom's fall and fractured hip. I spoke with [name removed] who was wonderful to talk with, communicated so clearly and compassionately and helped us get him placed quickly! We loved our interaction with [name removed], Executive Director and we can see by her leadership of caring interaction her staff all follows her lead! Our stepdad acclimated nicely to his surroundings, the dining room and all of the care staff. They were very responsive to us as a family with calls and texts and we felt there was genuine care and concern for him. This is the exact thing we needed as a family. We loved our time at IVP!

This facility is like a large, spacious, bright hotel!! The staff are awesome: nurses and caregivers on hand 24 hours a day. Residents are treated to day trips, painting classes, live music, everything you can imaging. There no sitting around waiting to die!! Emery room is bright with sunlight and the meals are hotel quality. I'm am over the moon happy that my husband is in such a wonderful place AND he's very happy there. I've told everyone I know how much I appreciate A Place For Mom

This is a review of StoryPoint Romeoville. Since moving my 96 year old aunt to StoryPoint - Romeoville everything has been going well. My aunt is adjusting to her new environment. She has mentioned to me that the food is better than where she was in the past. She also mentioned that the staff is very good & wanted to let her know that if she needed anything just to let them know.

The only thing difficult about giving this review, is not being able to come up with enough superlatives. In looking for independent living, we looked over a great portion of Ohio. After visiting 8 to 10 facilities, this one was the most friendly, the most welcoming, and offered all of the things we were looking for. Since we moved in, everyone and I do mean everyone, has been open and receiving us with open arms. This goes for all staff and all residents. No matter what a person's role is, there is always a smile on their face. As a couple who live in the independent living area, we have been encouraged and have participated in many of the events and activities that are being offered for all residents here. We would highly recommend Danbury of Millersburg! Excellent!

5 out of 5 on all. Mom passed away a month in. But I couldn't have been more pleased with the place. Yes, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families based on the experience. Everything was top notch

Sanctuary Grande is lovely. Clean and welcoming facility. Staff seems friendly and caring. We just did a couple of tours of the Sanctuary, so these thoughts are just based on that, not actually dealing with them day in and day out

I can’t think of a better place for my mother to have moved than to Independence Village. At 99 years old and having lost my dad 11 years ago, it was apparent she had to move closer to us and out of her condo in Florida. She loved her home and friends but summers were hot and lonely, she was too far away, no longer driving and hurricanes were becoming more prevalent. I stumbled on Independence Village at a Chamber of Commerce meeting and was so impressed with the appearance, atmosphere, food and staff that I knew this was a solution. She has made so many wonderful friends, is engaged in activities, loves her apartment, is playing piano and giving concerts, and has flourished. And I can’t say enough about the staff. Management assisted in navigating the process and amazing meals are prepared for the residents every night with terrific choices. They are all caring and involved people who truly enjoy their work. I’d move in too but they don’t allow horses yet, only dogs and cats.

I walked into a clean, fresh smelling, well lighted place. I was greeting my gracious staff at the desk. I saw many residents and visitors sitting in comfortable chairs, chatting, laughing and enjoying each other. Beyond, I saw the dining room, where others were having a coffee or tea, a snack. My sister, whose husband is a resident was greeted by several staff members, who took the time to update her on her husband’ night and how he was doing in the morning.Then we went through to the residences, I must comment on the level of security, which must keep “wanderers” from getting confused and lost. My brother-in-law’s room is spacious, accommodating for visitors. I loved seeing so many of his beloved personal belongings on the walls and shelves, adding a “homey” touch. He has a lovely view of the outdoors, another feature that I am sure comforts him. Based on my prior experiences in senior facilities, facilities, I found Danbury much quieter, much less commotion in the halls.

We moved my mother during major renovations but those have been completed so that won't be an issue going forward.

Living at Glen Abbey has been a blessing. The staff here are attentive, kind, and always make sure I’m comfortable and happy. They treat everyone like family. They know my preferences and they care about how I’m doing. I’ve made friends here and I enjoy visiting with them at meals and activities. If you’re looking for a place where you’ll be treated with respect, kindness, and care, I recommend Glen Abbey.

My mother lived at Bayfield for 10 months and stayed in the memory care unit for four months of that stay. The facility is awesome, the kitchen is great and very accommodating, but the best part was the staff. We got to know most of them on a first name basis. They came to know and love, my mother. I think the facility generates a culture that encourages the staff in the right ways. Our experience was very, very good and in hindsight, we made a great decision.

When I first stepped into Grace Haven I was instantly impressed. They had an activity going with lots of residents involved. The staff is kind and the energy was so calm and relaxed. It’s a beautiful place inside and out.

This was my first visit to Grace Haven. Great first impressions! Facility was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, residents were happy and taken care. Planning another visit in the near future.

I have a nice studio apartment that is close to the dining room. I like to sit in the main living room to watch the television. I have met some nice people and enjoy listening to the entertainment they have.

The staff is nice . They deal well my mom who can be a handful sometimes . They get her out for activities. The place always looks clean . They have family events which are fun. Overall I've been happy with them.

I called for a friend that was having health issues that lead us to seek information on assisted living. A place for Mom was my first and only call. They were wonderful! So thoughtful, so many questions to ascertain our needs. They told us about other many resources that he might be eligible for and we had great results and never knew these existed. We are very pleased with our help from A Place for Mom. I didn't have much interaction with StoryPoint, but what little I had was positive. They followed through quickly with my friend and were very helpful.
