What we really like about the place is how the residents will come up to you without being prompted. They engage in conversation, they are so friendly and that is very important to us. The residents have their own voice and the staff actually listen to them. Anytime there are concerns they address them quickly and solve the issues. It does not have that sterile hospital feel to is, it was warm and welcoming. They have the usual activities like bingo, arts and crafts, mind stimulating games, physical activities and movie nights. We especially like how they have separate rooms foe everything. They have a library, a chapel, movie room, music room, activity room. A separate gathering room for additional activities on the second floor. They have a physical therapy room where the residents can have PT, OT and speech therapy. They also have a big dining room. Our aunt likes best that when she goes down to get PT that the machines and staff are there, and she does not have to wait on anybody. This community is just not a great place when everything is going great, it is a great place because it still gives you that confidence that your loved one is in good hands even when things might not be going well.

During our loved ones stay it was a wonderful experience, the New Haven community is beautiful and we like how they have a swimming pool. He seemed to be very happy with the meals and dining service and given the market it did seem like a pretty good value.

The first thing I noticed at the Blake was the positive greeting by all staff when I saw them any place in the facility. The first meeting with [name removed] was not only informative but also most welcoming. The gentlemen at the front door [names removed] could not be more helpful or positive. [name removed], in charge of wellness, worked overtime to make sure that my needs were met. [name removed], newly in charge of activities, was brimming with ideas. I think they have a caring staff and do well in taking care of the residents here. The staff are excellent to work with and resolve any questions or concerns quickly. The community is assisting with bathing, dressing, laundry service, and hygiene for my loved one. The memory care is a secure area. I am disappointed in the meals, there is only one selection. It would be nice to see the residents have options to choose from for meals. There are lots of activities for the residents to engage with.

Truly enjoyed my visit to The LightHouse. I attended a Carnival created for the residents and was more than impressed with the genuine care the staff illustrated during this event! A beautiful facility, a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a home in a safe yet fun environment!!!

We love it. It feels like a home away from home. Everyone is friendly. You get to know people. I visit weekly and the residents are great and friendly. My loved one is doing great and loves it. I love the freedom of knowing that she can ask for help if she needs it. The activities are great, they offer things like outings and bingo, bus services to go shopping, etc.

I chose Washington Commons because I really liked the location and the apartment size, really I liked everything about it. The residents who live here are all super friendly. There are plenty of activities provided to participate in. I would recommend them to others looking.

Great community, this was too far from family was the downfall.

The staff members and other residents here act more like family which is really nice and so far based on my experience I would recommend the Smoky Springs to other families.

The staff are excellent. The administrative staff was very welcoming and transparent. On our tour, everyone was friendly. When we arrived, I mentioned to them that we wanted to reserve the private dining room, and they made that accommodation for us that evening on short notice. The staff really welcomed our friend upon move-in. When we told them her birthday had just passed, they did a shout out for her. It's just a very nice atmosphere. I enjoy the food. I've stayed in their guest suite that's available to families to rent. It's an efficiency apartment that's very nice and very clean. It even had a dining room table. Being able to stay there with her for a couple of days made the transition easy for my friend. I think it's an excellent value compared to other places we toured. Their Covid protocols really stood out to me as well. 100% of the staff was vaccinated as well as the residents in the community. That was not the case at other communities. They have an automated check-in system for visitors that they monitor where you take your temperature and log in. It gave me a sense of comfort knowing they were on top of it. All in all, I rate them very highly and definitely recommend them to others.

Benton House of Augusta is the best place to put your parent or loved one. The community he was at before was bad. Now here at Benton House my loved one enjoys what he eats and the people around him.

This has been a really good experience for my loved one. The staff are super easy to reach if we have questions or concerns about my loved one. The staff encourage the residents to get out and do some activities and they are willing to assist with acclimating my loved one into the community. My loved one loves the food, and it is of restaurant quality food. Some of the activities recently include Mardi Gras and more for the residents to choose from.

My loved one did not have any issues transitioning and stated that everyone was great. They are still new and working out the kinks but overall everything is pretty good. They didn't have a activity director for some time but they are for sure working on it. She is always busy and they let the residents have some input into the activities also. They make you feel like it is independent living but it is assisted living. They have actual apartments and not just rooms that the residents are living in. This made the transition easier and they went out of their way to make sure that this worked for my loved one.

The staff are friendly and it is a smaller community. It has a family feel to it. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. The staff are great to work with. My loved one seems happy with the food. I feel there could be more activities offered to the residents; however, it is winter, and there haven't been a lot of field trips offered.

Our family had a virtual tour and the staff were great we did not have a bad experience at all. We drove around the building also and it is in a beautiful area, and it is a beautiful facility. However, we think this community is geared more towards someone who is really independent and would enjoy the energetic atmosphere, we thought it would be to overwhelming and busy for her health state.

I would recommend Ashley Park to others for their loved ones. The community took care of all the needs of the residents. They were accommodating. The food was pretty good. The communication with the staff was good to talk to and they always had someone available to talk to. They always answered any question or assisted with the needs of the residents. The doors were always open for family or residents.

My family members who live here seem pleased with it. It's a very nice, clean place. The staff really seems to be quite caring. They take really good care of them.

It is a brand new community and they have really taken on that beachy South Carolina atmosphere. They have bright new colors and just a warm place, and it is very close to us. This community does do respite care.

It's been a great experience. I've been surprised how nice it is actually. I love that its a newer facility. It's literally a year old and very clean. The staff has been great, all the way the way through the tour, to moving her in, to now. There was a Covid outbreak within the facility that happened right after the Christmas holiday, and they notified us immediately by email. They shut down the assisted living section where the outbreak took place. Two weeks later, an employee tested positive in the independent living section, so they shut that down as well. My mother did not end up getting Covid, which I think is a testament to how well they handled the situation. I like that the facility offers the option to move through the levels of care as needed - from independent living, to assisted living, to memory care - all in one place. She already knows the main staff, so I feel it would be an easier transition and a more comforting process for her when the time comes. She's very happy with the food. She loves that there are different options at every meal, and she gets to choose what she eats. It makes it feel more like a restaurant to her. She loves the happy hours they have six days a week, with a 2-drink max, in a bar setting that opens onto the backyard where they have a really cool deck. It's just a really nice indoor-outdoor environment with French doors. She also enjoys Bingo, movie nights, work out classes, etc.

I would tell others that we love it here and like the activities. There is Wine Wednesday, piano bar,, games, crafts, and more for the residents to choose from. All the staff always has a smile on their face and are friendly.
