Small, charming assisted living with with caring patient care. Administration is friendly and try to accommodate needs but it's very hard to connect with nursing and activities staff to get information.

Visited 7/21/15 and met with Deena. Very thorough meeting and tour. Pretty nice, clean, older facility. They don't take Medicaid patients.

It's going as well as could be expected. I think they do the best they can with what they have. They just hired a new activities director, so that should help get some things going. The staff is good, they really do try their best. It's one of the less expensive places, so I guess you get what you pay for.

We've had somewhat of a mixed experience with Spring Haven. The staff here all seem very friendly, and the facility is well kept and clean overall. However, I think the memory care unit isn't quite what it could be. The assisted living portion of the facility seems very nice and open, but the memory care unit feels a little cramped and claustrophobic. I also feel like it is understaffed.

The Oaks of Clearwater is a farly nice place. The waterfront views are great, staff seems friendly and efficient. However, the food is far from gourmet, the units are small, and the elevator situation is very inadequate. The rates are reasonable compared to other places. If I had it to do over again I probably would have chosen a different place..

We did not have a great experience with Bayside Terrace. Our loved one was in their independent living section, but while she was there she suffered a fall and was unable to reach her call button and was on the ground for 7 hours before someone found her. Dealing with the management afterward was awkward, they were trying very hard to avoid taking any responsibility. We moved her out after this incident.

The people are friendly, just trying to make it home. Air conditioners do not work well on the West side of the building, obviously a long time problem,. but makes it unlivable from 2 pm to 7 pm. They have brought me a portable, so they're trying.

Visited this location and found it too small for our needs.

Visited here - Mom really liked it. Loved the garden walkway and the open atmosphere. Liked the location. Still little big for their tastes.

Downtown high-rise location near lake, with lovely views from higher floors. Found parking for visitors confusing, as it is located behind the building. Found the entrance to be dark and unwelcoming. Common areas on first floor seemed dark, drab, and uninviting. Large, well appointed accommodations. Higher floors/lake views required up-charge in costs. Non-refundable, one month's rent required--found this totally unappealing.

This place is too far for us.I do not like Hyw 19.

The communication skills are really poor, it's too expensive, and I am looking for another place. I am really disappointed in the facility itself. He was falling and no one let me know - they never called to tell me. I would not recommend to anyone. For the money I'm paying, I deserve to be notified when major things happen. The one good thing is the food. He has his own room with fridge, but meals are all in dining area.

Didn't really like the location was nice but also a tad over budget.

Mom is very good about using the bathroom by her-self but time to time she does have an accident. When I went to visit her there were feces on the side of the toilet four days later when I came back the feces was still on the toilet. I worry that if I don’t visit frequently her quality of care would drop. The people however are really nice. We are currently in the process of putting mom in a new community.

If you need help from the staff, stay away.

I have had a negative experience with the management. The room sizes are fine and my mother seems to be happy with her meals. I would not recommend this facility to others

I think this community could use some all around improvements for there residents. My loved one has not received any of the laundry services that where promised upon move in and they have been lacking in the housekeeping up keep of her room. The meal times also have a very awkward timing in the dinning room and it makes it difficult for my mother to attend them.

My loved one is doing as well as can be expected. There are some concerns I do have, and some things they can improve on. The care they are providing could be better. They are supposed to be helping her shower, but they do not. Also when I call the director to discuss my issues, they never return my calls. It is a beautiful community. They do a good with the cleanliness. There are improvements this community need to make. Before I would I recommend them.

While taking the tour at this community I was immediately turned off. The residence were just sitting around not looking happy. The rooms had a bad smell to them and needed to be cleaned. The community looked nice on the outside, but the feeling I got was that this place is not meant for my loved one.

The people working at Spring Haven are in the right career. They obviously love their jobs and it shows.
