Brookdale

I have been so happy that I made the decision to place my mom here. It feels like home the minute you walk in the door. Amazing activities staff that truly cares and keeps families informed. I would Recommend Brookdale Camino Del sol without hesitation.

I love the people here and the food gets better all the time-- I have been here for over 8 years and I enjoy helping people and being a part of the activities-- I feel my needs are met - My family loves that I am here as well

I have made some really great friends-- The staff is friendly and the food is good. I feel safe and I enjoy the activities-- most of all I like spending time playing cards and laughing with my friends

The facility is very clean and simple. The staff are very caring. They actually care for the residents it's not just a pay check like other facilities.

We were very pleased with Brookdale and would recommend it! I think it was a nice community with a home-like atmosphere. I think the staff were kind and caring and I would recommend it.

Life at Brookdale assisted living has been great compared to the last place I was at. As you know, it's not the name on the building that makes it a great place to live, but the people within that make it great. Just ask some of the employees how long they have been working there. That answers a lot of questions. The whole staff is well trained, professional and are on top of their game. Your needs will be met. On staff nursing, weekly doctor visits along with physical and occupational therapy. I have been here for about 4 months and everything is going great. If your concerned about the cost I can guarantee you that, you won't find anything better for the money.

always smiles & helpful. they always find me for my meds. The nurse is very helpful & follows up. dinner time is too early for me by ~ 2 hrs. Lunch is my only meal and is fine but I make a snack in the evening. My wife and I had a special menu we followed but that would be VERY DIFFICULT for the kitchen to follow, so I would have to cook all my own meals. At least the menu gives choices. Once in a while I fix my own meal to follow my preferences. The staff at meals are excellent.

Brookdale Valpo was my top choice by a mile. It was based on the size of the facility, and the feel I got about the staff being available and eager to help and pay attention to my dad. Perfect for my dad. He is not very mobile and wanted a small efficient layout.

Brookdale San Marcos is a wonderful senior facility to stay as the staff are very helpful and residents friendly.

Staff is very friendly and make you feel as part of a family. Great with mom and other resident is as we have seen when visiting and from the greeting when you first walk in to the time you leave the staff is very great and willing to help and answer answer any questions.

Responsiveness to maintenance & repair requests seems good. Had a delay in resident's request to change meal consistency (from small pieces to whole), hopefully that's been remedied

I moved into Brookdale Independent Living in [date removed]. I chose Brookdale after touring several facilities in New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, and Nevada. I saw the somewhat outdated building, and apartments without a lot of amenities, and Brookdale was not as up to date as some of the other places. These items were important to me, but the decision was easy, because the staff was so open and welcoming. The residents were friendly and welcoming. The vas majority of them were happy. I had to have a total hip replacement after living here for 4 months. When I returned from the hospital, the executive director met me at the car with a company wheelchair and personally wheeled me back to my apartment. She left the chair in my apartment just in case I needed it. She also reminded me that I could call the kitchen and and have meals delivered to my room. The staff at this facility are excellent. If you should tour this facility, I would be glad to discuss my experiences here in depth

All of the people I have met from the kitchen staff, maintenance workers, front office, and care givers are wonderful. They care and look after mom with smiles and kind words and skill! I am very reassured and comfortable with everyone. They also are concerned and comforting with me.

Staff helps out in all different areas, they rotate. Friendly, Attentive, good entertainment, room always clean. Food looks yummy! We would absolutely recommend this community to other families and great value for the price. My mom's room is lovely

I would absolutely recommend it to others! It's a great place! It was one of the places that a place for mom scheduled a tour. Location to family was a big thing. It's also set up like an apartment area not a long term care facility.

Quality and convenience to our and daughter's residence. I would recommend to others.
