This is a wonderful community with highly trained, compassionate staff. Every member of the staff, including administration, kitchen, nursing staff and of course the caregivers, are trained and experienced with how to interact with people with dementia, and treat the residents with respect and dignity. They are all attentive and highly responsive to any requests or concerns from families. While very professional, the community also feels much more like an extended family than a business. I cannot recommend Brookdale Cary highly enough.

Many years ago, my great grandmother used to live at Brookdale First Colony. She loved the food and atmosphere. As a kid, I used to come all the time to see her almost every weekend. Years later, I'm grateful to be working for the same company and at the same community. I'm happy to be able to serve the residents here and the food and atmosphere is still amazing.

When visiting and trying to find a place my Mom accepted to live at, the search was frustrating until Brookdale. Even 20 minutes everywhere else was all I could even spend there, so permanently was out of the question. When we walked into Brookdale I felt a comforting feeling and the staff were unlike anywhere else, they made us feel important and cheerful. My mom is happy and I’m at peace knowing she is at a place that always exceeds your even highest expectations .
