Brookdale

Mom has been happy at Brookdale Broadmoor the staff is engaging and treats her very well. There are a lot of activities that they do with her to keep her engaged and happy.

Overall very happy with staff and facility. Treated my father like he was family! I would recommend to others, very caring environment for your family member.

My sister, who lives at Brookdale, enjoys the meals and activities.

Brookdale has been great BUT I am sourcing nursing homes as my Dad is going to need a bit more care. Warm and welcome staff. Feels like a "home away from home atmosphere" which is what I wanted for my father.

[names removed] and their entire staff at Brookdale Santa Barbara go above and beyond every single day. Their professionalism, compassion, and dedication are truly unmatched. From the warm welcome at the door to the personalized attention they give each resident, you can feel the genuine care and commitment in everything they do. I have complete peace of mind knowing my loved one is in such capable and caring hands. Highly recommend this community to anyone looking for quality care and a supportive environment!

Staff is very nice and they check on her in her room regularly and also through the night, meals are good, not great but good. They work very hard on keeping them busy with excursions (at least once a month) family night with a meal often but gathering once a month, arts and crafts, games like bingo weekly, they listen and try to accommodate their extra requests too. They go shopping, site seeing and picnicking too. My mom is very happy.

My sister has improved in many ways since she moved there. The staff is wonderful they keep a big eye on her. Brookdale calls me every month to see if I have any concerns regarding my sister. The doctors check in with me as well. I highly recommend Brookdale Lake Mary.

They have alot of activities everyday, so far my grandparents have seen a magician, an accordian player, done painting activities, played bingo, and cards. They have morning exercise class that will work for anyone. The food is not that great and my grandparents do not care for it much. They do offer 2 options for every meal so that helps.

The transition for my aunt from another facility went extremely well. She seems happier at Brookdale. Although my aunt's illness has deteriorated...it gives us comfort knowing she seems happy and content. [name removed], the Clare Bridge Program Manager is wonderful and very caring...Brookdale, the residents and their families are very lucky to have her!

I do recommend all the time when speaking to others. The food is really good. Great activities. It has been great. She now says it is her home.

From the moment I stepped off the Brookdale bus, I was greeted by the entire Brookdale administrative staff. They were welcoming and inviting as they greeted me to my new home. Of course at that moment, I don’t know that it was my new home. Shortly thereafter I signed my rental agreement after choosing my wonderful apartment, by the koi pond . I have been here 1 month. In the short time I have new friends and a lovely place to live.

Met [name removed] and was given all the information about the facility, staff, and the different services Brookdale provided. The tour was very interesting since it answered a lot of our questions and concerns. We will continue to keep in contact with [name removed] and hopefully be a part of the Brookdale family. I can't say enough positive things about this place. The staff is so kind and [name removed] always went above and beyond to help out! Highly reccomend it. Everytime I need to communicate with a member of the facility they are kind and facilitate it.

The caregivers that took care of mom during her last days were very patient and caring with her. They tried to accommodate her differently eating requests which helped so much. [name removed] was a sweetheart as well. She did everything she could to help the staff.

I would definitely recommend it to others. Mom isn't an easy one to please and she even talks highly of Brookdale Lakes. I think it's a great place! Mom may be getting to the point she won't be able to do assisted living in the not too distant future, but they treat her very well and it's a pretty homey place.
