My loved one has not been there that long, but seems to be adjusting so fa. Overall, the staff is friendly and helpful.

I feel like they misrepresented quite a lot of stuff. They took me to a demo room and was led to that believe it would be just like the demo room. They had put my loved one whom had severe mobility issues, had placed him at the very end far away from all main rooms, etc. It was not a good fit for him given he was not mobile and needed to be closer to the areas that would be common type areas. The demo room was very close to those public areas but what we ended up in was a semi-private room not a private room. So we ended up pulling out of the situation and not moving him into there based off the misrepresentation.

My experience has been very good with Morada. The staff are kind, helpful, and friendly people. I would recommend.

The food is awesome. There is a lot of activities, and they have a schedule of monthly activities. Overall, it's been pretty good.

Summer Place has been absolutely fantastic. A fantastic choice. I can't say enough good about it. If a person had a restrictive diet, such as lactose intolerant, gluten-free, and so on, I don't know how they would accommodate that. But I would say that for any place. I do not have any diet restrictions, so for me, they have met all my needs, and I think it's a fantastic place.

Solstice needed some updating and they were in the process of doing that. Location ended up being the decider for my loved one. Also, having a balcony or patio was important to her.

It's a very nice place over all. Great food and the Solstice staff are very nice, open, and genuinely seem to care. The food is great with a lot of variety the kitchen staff could he a bit more friendly but they're efficient.

We tell anyone that wants to know about it that its great! Least expensive one in town with that many amenities, activities and many smiling faces. In addition, everyone one is close and love to help each other.

The Holiday Colonial Village is extremely clean, there is always someone here constantly clean. I have a beautiful apartment so I have think the value is great. The staff members are marvelous, I have no idea where they find them they are extremely friendly. The breakfast is delicious but because of the staffing shortages sometimes lunch and dinner is served cold. The activities are fantastic, I have participate in a ton of great activities. If you are interested in something you'll be able to find some activity because there are things going on the entire day

Our family had an in person tour and the experience was great with was a toss-up between this community and other communities and the reason we went with the other one is just because they had a little more activities. However still a great tour.

The facility is very nice -they have a wonderful courtyard where residents can go sit. It is very clean as well. She has a room that is like her own little apartment and we love it. My mother is 102 and a half. The treat her like a queen here. They have all said that they do not wake her up in the mornings like they do the others - she has earned her right to sleep as late as she wants. The value is great - I looked into an at home service and it was much more expensive and it did not provide nearly what they do here at SummerHouse Ashton Manor. One thing that I really like that they do here is after lunch they put the residents back in their rooms but leave the doors open so that they can walk by and check on them every 15/20 minutes. I like that she doesn't have to just sit in her wheelchair and can be comfortable in her own room. I would recommend them and already have to others.

Spring Cypress was very nice and super clean. The tour experience that we had was great. We did notice that there were not a lot of activities going on and the residents in memory care were just kind of sitting around which is what my loved one did at home and he was kind of depressed. We were looking for a place that had a lot of engaging activities.

My siblings and I were under a lot of stress trying to take care of our mother. We are all self employed and still working full time. From the moment I walked into the door, Solstice captured my heart. The residents were all smiling and happy and greeted us with open arms. The staff at Solstice is absolutely amazing! I can't even put into words how much they are appreciated by me and my entire family. My initial consultation was great! From the very start, we felt comfortable and right at home. The entire staff is remarkable! They definitely show that they really take pride in the work they do and the care they provide to their residents. And don't even get me started on the home cooked meals that are provided 3 times a day from the amazing Solstice chef. It has been over a month now and my mom has settled in and is doing great! What a blessing to have found Solstice Senior Living. I recommend them highly and more!

They are very attentive to the people living there and offer a lot of services

My mother lived at Brookdale Des Plaines for over 5 years and just passed away at the age of 97. Brookdale is a wonderful place to live. The rooms are large and large activity area with many tables and counters to host all their activities. There also a library with 100s of books to borrow. Activities range from group exercises, speakers on various topics, and even bingo. They also have family activities several times a year. The food is very good and several choices for each meal every day. The best part of Brookdale Des Plaines is the staff (from the nursing to the administration). Everyone is kind, attentive, and professional. I would give Brookdale a solid five stars. My mother had stayed at four other facilities and definitely put Brookdale as number one.

I'm near 90, and I recently had a few falls. My family thought a senior living residence would be safer resident than living alone. After investigating senior living the family decided on Brookdale. I presently am living in a one bedroom, kitchen, living room/dining room, and bath/shower with a balcony facing northeast. The food is well prepared, plentiful, and tasty. Each day is scheduled with many activities. There is a swimming pool with pool exercises. Brookdale is beautiful inside and out. Many places for personal quietness for conversation with others. Pets are allowed. Brookdale is a very nice place to live.

Our experience with the Memory Care Unit at Morada Friendswood was very positive. Their policies for dealing with accidents were excellent. The staff was competent and caring. The administrating staff was readily available to the residents and their families. Bottom line, I would recommend this facility without reservation.

Our loved one absolutely loves the meals and dining service. They do not have much activities going on right now we think they are going through a staffing change, but when they did have them the residents would go out on weekly grocery trips, and to different restaurants. Our loved one does currently enjoy playing card games and socializing. The value is worth every penny for that peace of mind and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

They are installing new carpet installation , and doing some remodeling. The meals are good. They have activities such as; singing, bingo and I love to play bridge. They are very helpful to be around people. There is a chappel if you cant make it to church. They are very friendly people. It feels very good to be here. I used A Place for Mom, and it helped a lot.
