There are no meals and dining service here, but we do have our own kitchens so we can cook our own food. It is more independent living and we do have good activities here. I would recommend this community to others.

If you want professionalism, exceptional customer service, sensitivity, efficiency and the best care for your loved one, this place is where you need to go. I needed a place for my 91 year old father. From my first visit to making dad one of their residents, [name removed] and the facility's head administrator have been accessible, friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. Their advice has been spot on every step of the way. I feel so strongly about this facility that I am posting my number for anyone to call me about the service my family is experiencing. This one is absolutely exceptional!

It was a great experience, the community was always very clean and spotless. The day time care takers were great especially two in particular who really went above and beyond. We were very happy with that, but the night time care was much more quite. It seemed like at times no one really was checking in on our loved one. This community was the most reasonable cost out of others we looked into .

I would recommend Carroll Place to others looking depending on your situation. Overall our experience has turned out to be just fine for my dad, I feel comfortable with him being here.

We chose Palms at La Quinta because the staff to resident ratio was really good. They do offer shared and private rooms, he has a shared room and has had no problems with it. I really appreciate the quality care they give to my brother in the memory care unit, they are very patient with him. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

My mom lived alone in a large house. Unfortunately, her health declined as her age progressed. She needed extra help. I brought her to Heartis. She now gets the therapy she needs instead of just 6 month checkups. She exercises and plays games and cards with her new resident friends, instead of just dimly watching the TV set. She gets fantastic meals with lots of choices instead of frozen dinners and take-outs. The staff that I have come to know here care for her on a personal level, and I trust them to watch over her and be there for her. At Heartis, her so called "twilight years" will now be happy years, filled with comfort, contentment, and joy. I could not be happier that we made Heartis of Orland Park my mom's new home!

I moved my mother here 2 years ago. I couldn't be happier with the staff, they made my mother feel at home. I am so happy with the staff here I moved my mother-in-law in. Both of them are extremely happy here. Wouldn't change a thing with the property and especially the staff.

[name removed] this young lady is very good at what she does. Helps people who need her, or take them wherever they need to go. I feel this place is great. I lived in another place and it was not as good as this one. [name removed] makes you feel like you are a part of the family.

Hello - Normally I don't leave reviews. To be honest, I've always been very suspicious of them. However, I feel it very necessary to write this review for those of you who are searching for a Senior Living Facility. I've lived at Discovery Village @ Sugarloaf for 6 months now and I can truly speak with all honesty when I tell you that this place is absolutely "WONDERFUL". The ED is very attentive to all the residents, their problems, issues, and concerns, and is dedicated to their comfort & safety while residing here at Discovery Village @ Sugarloaf. e facility daily. The grounds are kept neat, the facility is constantly being monitored and cleaned. I can't speak highly enough about the staff, who are all extremely professional, caring and above all, motivated to providing support for all residents. There is an atmosphere of warmth and family, throughout the community, which makes you feel right at home, comfortable and safe. I truly love it here, and I believe you will to.

Cypress woods is a wonderful place to live and call home. Everyone on the staff is very helpful and friendly. I am so very glad t be here.

Right after we left the tour our mothers first words were " I would give anything to live here." We have had such a good experience so far, the staff members are extremely friendly. The only care services our loved one utilizes is the medication distribution and we have no issues there. The dining service is great, but our loved one is not a fan of the food but we do know it is her opinion. They are absolutely trying their best when it comes to the activities, the were great for awhile but then they had to quarantine so then it was not so good. However, our loved one enjoys going to church which they take her to and the movie showings. They really worked with us on the pricing, but since our loved one isn't a fan of the food that brings that value down some. It is nothing specific to the community, it is just our families situation.

So far my experience has been really good, the location is great it is right in the middle of all my friends and family. I am still recovering from the covid symptoms I had like covid fog and weak lungs so I haven't been able to participate in a lot of activities or really the meals and dining service. However, I do take advantage of the exercise activities and physical therapy, and the meals I have gone to are good.

This is the perfect place to place your family member. It has been easy from the time I called to set the tour up to the schedule to move in. It is a breeze. There are exercises, sport teams day, games, and more for the residents to choose from for activities.

We chose Elmcroft of Southport because they had availability when we needed it. They were very easy to work with and welcoming to our family. They have a great personal service, the staff know everyone by name and seem to be very caring and positive. They are in the midst of changing management companies, we are hoping things stay as good as good as they are now. I would definitely recommend to others looking.

There's different levels of care. Make sure that your family member's level of care doesn't exceed their ability to provide it, that the needs fit their service level. They did have some staffing issues, but the staff were all very nice and competent. The food I tried was good quality and presented well. It didn't seem thrown together quickly - it looked like it took an appropriate level of skill from the people who prepared it. They also had a big calendar of activities. I would recommend the community to other families.

It is expensive, but it is worth it. In addition to your rent, they take care of all your utilities and meals. There are a lot of activities for the residents to participate in. There is a chef that prepares everything on site.
