The staff members get 10 stars, their willingness to go the extra step to make sure we wanted our loved one to move there and to make sure we stayed happy after moving them there really stood out to us. The meals and dining service overall is pretty good, we do understand right now with the supply chain everyone is having trouble getting food. There are activities available for those who chose to participate, and so far everything they told us and promised us they have followed through with.

Our 102 year old mother has been living at Taylor Place for a year. During that time, she has been well cared for by a pleasant and kind staff. They call her Sweetie, which she very much enjoys. We are relieved knowing she being cared for and looked after each day. It was hard for her to make the switch to assisted living but she realizes she can no longer be safe at home. Furnishing her apartment with her own items helped make a comfortable, familiar home which eased the transition. We have found working with the staff has been easy and pleasurable. We would highly recommend Taylor Place.

We are very pleased with our experience with Fountainwood at Lake Houston. It is a brand new facility and they are having some staffing issues, but that is not uncommon. They have a great activities director who implements a lot of great ideas. We did not even look at any other facilities because my son recommended this one. When I checked it out I was pleased with what I saw and have been ever since. I would definitely recommend it to others looking.
