Five Star Senior Living

Our tour of this facility was a good one. We really enjoyed the cheerful atmosphere this community has. The staff was welcoming and very happy. This community was just a little to far for our families. Other than that issue, everything went great. We enjoyed our toured.

My husband stayed for two and a half weeks of respite care while I traveled so only know the before and after. The staff was very welcoming and friendly as I made the arrangements and when we returned to collect his things. They made certain his room was clean and personalized. Only issue, I think, was the loss of two wallets with ID, cash and a card. I believe the staff did all in their piwer to find them but nothing was recovered. Nonetheless, my husband said he'd go back so the facility is definitely still an option for us. Cost is the standard price per day for respite care.

So far everything is working out pretty for my mother here at Riverwalk. The community looks great, they do a good job with making sure her room and the facility is well maintained. The staff is pretty good, the night isn't quite as attentive as the day staff. The day staff is great, they are helpful. There are nice activities offered. The meals are amazing, some of our family has tired the food and they love it. They are providing her with good care. This is a facility I would recommend.

We were very happy with them in the beginning. Our loved one is a little disappointed now, but some of that may be their condition. I would give them a 4 overall.

Dogwood Forest is a wonderful place for my Mother in law. The staff are lovely and there is good communication with them. They offer a variety of activities and she does participate in some of them. The community is very clean and taken care of.

After our first month @ Legacy I am very pleased with the attention they have given my mom in insuring things go well for her. The staff is very friendly and cooperative and supportive. Easy to access staff if questions arise. Facility is very nice and well kept up. Meals seem very balanced and well presented

Things are well for me and I am really happy with my choice to move here. The people here are wonderful they really make the community amazing. There is always someone greeting you at the door with a smile. I love going to bingo and poker nights. The food is excellent with a variety of choices. My apartment is nice and big with my own bathroom. Over all everything is wonderful and I am happy here.

Our experience with Forest Creek Commons has been a good one, overall. It's a nice looking place, the staff is friendly, and they've been able to provide all of the services and care we were hoping for for our loved one.

A place for mom/dad was very helpful. They found the available places in your area, and had the facilities get in touch with you. The facilities also new your needs, you gave the info once to a "place for mom/dad". They were courteous, efficent, & a quick responding organization.

The person that met with us was very, very good. She was very nice. I really liked the atmosphere there, I thought it would be a good homey environment. The cost was just a little high and the facility itself was a little older and smaller.

Our experience with Five Star has been a good one, so far! The facility itself is always well kept and clean, the common areas look nice and they do a weekly cleaning of my loved one's apartment. The staff here is friendly and professional. They respond to situations very quickly, and they've always gotten right on top of any issues we've brought up with them.

Our experience with Legacy Heights has been a good one, overall. The facility is clean and well kept, and the staff is friendly and professional. They're very diligent and consistent when it comes to checking in on the residents and getting them out of their rooms for meals and activities. I also like that they have their own physical therapy staff and in-house doctors. However, we have had a few issues with the medication service.

The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the homey atmosphere of the place. Although it is an older facility, it is still kept very clean and well maintained. The staff has always been friendly and willing to help.

I can definitely say that the one major thing I noticed need improvement was the food. My Dad was only there for a week, but the food was pretty bad. The menu sounds fancy, but the food was cold and bland. Other than that, they are really nice people with an amazing staff. They are kind, caring, good people. The facility is really nice and they take really good care of the people there.

This is a nice facility. They keep it clean and well organized and maintained. The staff is always helpful and very nice. The food is okay, but it could be better. I do like the comfortable atmosphere of the place.

The staff here is very caring, friendly and attentive. The building itself is clean and well maintained. The level of care is great and the nursing staff is excellent. The only improvement that needs to be made is the quality of the food. It could be better.

We are relatively happy with them. It's still kind of confusing getting acclimated to the workings of the place, learning when meals are and things, there was no real orientation. I haven't had any complaints about food or staff, or cleanliness, nothing like that.

I think that The Forum at the Woodlands can improve on maybe getting the residents to be a little more outgoing, like pairing them up with other residents and such. I give them a four - star rating overall.

Everyone is great and go out of their way to make the patience feel welcome and at home.

Received literature and spoke to Cindy there. Very friendly and helpful. Visited with the in-laws. All of us liked it very much, especially the garden homes. Could really see them living there. Many activities, nice dining room/food service.
