Five Star Senior Living

A great place to live! It has a family atmosphere, and the people and staff care about each other. It has independent living, assisted-living, and memory care. This is a nice option so once you have made it home at The Palms, you never have to leave. I would highly recommend The Palms of Fort Myers.

What I like most about The Horizon Club community is the friendliness of administrative staff, group activities, puzzles in hallway and lobby and people I have met. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend this community to other families.

I moved in about 13 months ago. My husband and I shows to take two apartments near each other and have found that it’s working out well. There were different systems in place that helped us get settled in and meet different people. I really like that there is a continuity of care. My friends complain about constant turnover. In their other places that they live. That is not the case @ Barrington Terrace. It’s always the same friendly faces and management which brings me comfort. I like that they keep things interesting, have lots of parties do lots of decorating, the activities are engaging & interesting. I highly recommend making this decision soon!

My sister was 1st the resident. As her advocate and caregiver, I interacted with the staff often. Whereas nothing is perfect, they come close. The caregivers there try, they are caring and their heart is in the right place. Generous hearts! My experience at Barrington is exactly what I anticipated and more!! The executives in charge of the departments, everybody was very warm and willing to help. The community is beautiful. It is just the right size. I loved the artistic touches and artwork on the wall. This is very important to me because I used to work at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City. The facility is very clean. The dining room feels like an attractive restaurant in Manhattan. When I first visited the building, one of the head nurses said “welcome to my home” with the warmest smile. That was the cherry on the cake!

Moved mom in a little over two years ago. Her room is very comfortable. The staff was s very kind and caring. They have daily activities and live music a few times a week. It’s a really nice place! They just went through a renovation this week. I love the new colors and the decor.

Always available to talk about guests needs and services. Have guest needs above their needs. Entertainment is wonderful. Food and food service staff very attentive. Facility environment is lovely and excellently maintained.

Meet a lot of nice people. I’m starting to make friends & learn my way around. I had no expectations but was very pleasantly surprised! Delaying would have made it a lot harder and it turns out I should have come sooner.

I’m very pleased with the services and the staff. I have had a death in my family. The staff was there to comfort me in every way, and I am grateful. I have my new family surrounding me, called Barrington Terrace!

We had a very positive experience with the facility. The staff has been very helpful and attentive as we transitioned my mom into her residence. They all know her name and engage with her. Answered many many questions and were transparent with us. There was even a transition of the residence 's head site director that was of zero impact to us from an administrative level. My mom has had no complaints or issues. And I don't feel like the staff is there just for the paycheck. Educated caring people are there because they want to be there.

From the time we went to view the Palms to the visit to sign the lease, it had been awesome! [name removed] have us our tour and answered any questions that we had. She is wonderful. Mom is excited to make the move. Thank you so much [name removed], you're the best.

The staff at Park Place of Fountain City have always been fantastic. The housekeeping is great. Though my loved one often feels like it's more than he needs. Communication with the family has been fine. My only complaint is that the food has been substandard. My loved one often does not get what he asks for. Many times he has left a meal to go eat more because he didn't get what he ordered and what he got was not enough.

November of 2022 we knew it was time for our Mom at 99 years of age to go into a home where she would be cared for. Friends of ours suggested we visit Tuscany Villa because their Mom had a wonderful life there. Our first visit we knew this was the perfect place for her. It would allow us to visit her often only being 15 minutes away. The care that our Mom has received is above and beyond. She has met many new friends and daily raves about how happy she is and how much she loves Tuscany Villa. It is a blessing for us! Everyone who works there is so loving to her. She loves the food, sitting out by the pool, taking her walk daily outdoors and loves the activities she often participates in daily, especially entertainment and happy hour on Friday. The care and love that she has received has given her such happiness that we celebrated her 100th birthday this month. Thank you to all of you for giving our Mom the happiness she has daily. We truly appreciate you!

This seems like a wonderful place. The food was really good for lunch, and the facility looked so nice. Seems like there is plenty of activity and entertainment for all the residents. And the rooms are very spacious.

The Forum is a smaller assisted living facility compared to some in the OP, KS area but with that allows for individualized care. Although my mother in law was only there for a few months since her health declined quicker than expected, we were able to adjust based on her needs.

We love the friendliness of staff. They are very caring and also professional. The one complaint my Mom has consistently is the food. She feels like the food is of a hospital grade. She thinks the she be better for the cost that she's paying to live there. Other than that, she is very happy at Five Star and loves her apartment!

Festival was well organized. Decorations were adorable. Staff, residents, and visitors were very friendly. Photo op hay bale/Fall background was a great idea.

Since i can no longer live alone in my own home, this is a great alternative, It is a beautiful building. Staff is friendly and caring. Therapy is great! I finally have a therapist that knows what they are doing with Parkinsons.

Everyone is extremely nice extremely helpful at the Legacy Heights community. The community itself is immaculate. It always smells great and my mom loves the food that is prepared for them!!!

As The Caregivers and Staff at Tuscany Villa of Naples have repeatedly demonstrated; daunting as change & uncertainty may be, it CAN lead the way to safe, helpful and healthy change for the new residents AND their family and friends. We are grateful every day that our friend's "new home"/assisted living facility is the compassionate, patient, and nurturing home that it is. Creating a family environment has been an objective achieved! The excellence of medical/healthcare needs and attention has impressed us, the kindness and respect of the aids and staff has helped us to feel comfortable for our friends many needs, The cleanliness and services provided cover much more than we realized, and The excellence of the meals, and specialties provided by Chef and his team are a gift to the residents! The management is very proactive, generous with their time and always available to assist/ and guide. We have a lot to be grateful for deciding on Tuscany Villa of Naples.
