Five Star Senior Living

We toured several places for my mom, and she knew this was “the one” right away. They offer a ton of daily and varied activities, and great amenities. Also, her unit is roomy and homey and doesn’t feel institutional like some places tend to. So far my mom is very happy with her choice, so we are too!

Room for improvement: Have someone helping the overnight secretary. Have a on site nurse overnight. I had an emergency and came downstairs for help and she said she couldn't leave the desk and there was no one here. She tried to call a security guard but she had NOONE helping her. The apartment sizes and amenities offered for the residents are great!

I give all a rating of 5. Having been here only 3 months, my experience has been beyond my expectations. All staff personnel are very friendly and helpful. I have a two bedroom apartment. Living room is a bit small. They have several sizes of apartment's to choose from. All have washer/dryers in the units, small kitchenettes. Two meals a day, a third is optional. Many activities to choose from. Transportation is available. I am very happy with my decision to move into Coral Oaks.

My loved one passed away, but Park Place of Fountain City was great! I liked that most rooms are on the first floor and so it's easy to get to important places like the cafeteria. Sometimes the front desk person wasn't there, but I think they were around helping someone, and with all places, I think they are short staffed, but other than that, I liked the place. His apartment was a good size. They had some shuttle service and that was nice. And a cafeteria.

Mom is so happy and content with her new place. The facility is in a great location. Right in the middle of a busy commercial and residential area with easy close shopping and restaurants. The community sits back off the road with a large front area with a large front porch with rocking chairs. Feels like it's in the countryside; no road noise. The residents are always enjoying the front porch. So close to everything you might need but feels like the countryside. The staff is beyond wonderful. They are so good to the residents and families!

They are a very friendly staff, always there to help, even the residents. They make you feel at home! The apartment sizes here are so very roomy, you couldn't as for anything else! I would definitely recommend Park Place of Fountain City.

This is the best place for seniors. We are treated well, listened to, and kept as busy as we can be. We have a huge variety of activities. The staff are kind and helpful. We go on outings. We are taken to Dr. appts and shopping. If one is bore dhere, it's not for lack of their trying. And the food is great.

I love The Legacy in Anderson, SC and have had a great experience there. It is a beautiful, wonderful place, and the staff are fantastic and caring.

The staff at Fox Hollow are all very friendly and they make a point to know everyone's names. Even the names of the resident's family members. Their attention to detail at this facility is superb. I would highly recommend Fox Hollow to friends and family.

I would have to say 5 on everything but quality of care. That's a 4. I think that they need better communication amongst the staff. This facility has excellent people to work with as far as admissions, paperwork etc. and the daily care team , activities etc. are awesome. Room sizes are more than adequate.. moms room in memory are at the Palms is huge. Lots of storage. Dad has a suite at the Palms that has a living room, bedroom bath and a kitchenette. Mom does have to be accompanied anytime she wants to go outside. I would absolutely recommend Palms of Fort Myers to others!

I've visited many many communities, and by leaps and bounds there was never any question that this is a facility that I would place any loved one in, I would recommend to anyone I cared about, and I would want to be in myself. The facility is spotless, the staff is caring and observant above all, and as I said before, there is no lack of communication be it a small issue or a large issue. You have to have a heart to be in this business, and Barrington Trace is the epitome of being in it for the love of it.The staff, especially [name removed] goes so far and above to make sure the family, not just the patient is comfortable and aware every step of the way...the line of communication is impeccable

The tour was great at Voorhees Senior Living community. We decided to go with another community in the area as it was closer to family to be able to visit.

I found [name removed], the Sales Director to be a very caring person. I think she is one of the most knowledgeable people i have spoken with about Independent and Assisted Living as well as Memory Care. I think Barrington Terrace with their staff and residences can be a great place to live in.

My family and loved one have had a great experience with the community. The community is always clean when we visit our loved one. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. The community is beautiful with great activities and there are meals provided. Overall, this is a community we would recommend to others.

I picked them because of the "vibe" and sense of connection I saw there when I was touring and checking out communities in the area. Also the size seemed just right, and others seemed bigger or even fancier but with common rooms and areas too spread out, long empty hallways, etc. Others seemed too small/cramped. When you walk into The Gardens, you sense a level of activity, there's an upbeat atmosphere, friendly staff members around, etc. I would recommend The Gardens to anyone looking for a residential option for a family member. Staff, from management to med techs to aids, are engaged and create a sense of community. They treat residents with kindness and patience. It's been a huge help, not having to worry about my mother's well being and safety compared to her living alone, or even living with family when we all work and are gone all day. [name removed] from A Place for Mom was fantastic -- explaining options, putting together a short list based on my mother's needs and financial situation, and helping with how to introduce the idea and navigate the transition from living with family to a residential community. It was such a relief to feel like I didn't have to figure it out all on my own. Other referral services or sites were nothing but sales pitches or lists of articles, but working with [name removed] and A Place for Mom was incredibly valuable (yet free!).

For those that have loved ones who like to remain active and are able to do so, I'd like to see more options. Also, be very patient the first months while you are getting to know who to talk to on the staff, at least until the first inevitable kinks are worked out. Overall, the experience has been as good as I think it could be, at least, my brother and I think so. You can feel free to use my first name. Thanks for asking!

My father was a resident at The Gables at Winchester and most everything was great. He felt taken care of at this facility. His only complaint was the food, he would complain that it was too bland and repetitive and needed to have more variety. I would give The Gables a high reference, I would recommend them to family and friends.

We picked this community, because of the price. The experience is good. Mom uses the on-site physical therapy 4-5 days a week. I would definitely recommend to other families.

The visit was very positive, the facility was well maintained and inviting. The staff was personable with many years of service, and our family felt Overlook was the best fit for mom's needs now and later as her needs change. I would recommend to other families.

5 stars all the way around. We chose Tellico Village over others we saw because it just had a nice 'feel' to it?! If I was lost or unsure about anything, I always encountered someone that was willing to help or give me a hand. The residents all seemed happy too, and I felt like that was a good sign!! All staff I encountered were super helpful, professional, and kind.
