Five Star Senior Living

The staff at Five Star Premier are terrific and based on our experience so far we would without a doubt recommend this community to other families. We love the special attention and things they do for the residents. There is live music performances twice a week and even sometimes three times a week. The other day when we came to visit they even had an aromatherapy session for the residents. They have excellent medical care from the staff, psychiatrist and nutritionist.

Everything has been good. We've had a good experience at Barrington Terrace. I like the staff and the way they run things. And the facility is very clean.

My Dad, who has Alzheimer’s and lives in the moment, has lived at Huntington Place since October. The other day we took him out for lunch. As we were driving him back he asked us if he was going home. He meant Huntington Place! That is what it is – a home. It looks and feels like a home! As Dad walks through the hallways he looks at each painting and describes the story in it. [name removed] is driven by her love for the residents and her passion for excellent care. It sounds corny, but when you meet her and everyone (RNs, caregivers, activity Executive director, BTR director, etc) you know it right away! They read him his devotions he loves every day, provide him with opportunities to do what he loves. Bottom line, they love him like he is their own Dad and he knows it – and I know it! After these 5 months I am still amazed at how wonderful Huntington Place and this awesome family of caring people are for Dad! Carol

I have worked along side Huntington Place staff for over a year working with hospice patients. This facility is by far the BEST facility I have ever been to!! All staff truly care about their residents and they provide the best care. I have never seen staff that treat residents as if they were family, but here they do. Home cooked meals, they provide dignity and support to patients, staff is very experienced. I can not recommend a place more highly. Amazing place. Take a tour and meet the staff. They are fantastic! Our family had an in person tour and our favorite part of the community was the lady giving us the tour. She was so thoughtful and amazing. She gave us such good insight, she was compassionate and caring.

My loved one really likes this community. He has met many other residents who were in independent living and moved here and they are very happy about being here at this community. My loved one was hesitant at first but it all went well. We had to order everything on amazon for his apartment and they went in and helped him set up everything and they went above and beyond to make sure that my loved one had everything that he needed.

Requested food sent to my loved ones room due to mobility issues. She got breakfast but not lunch and dinner. Top notch place, the dining staff needs help. I can't seem to get ahold of anyone. I keep getting recordings. The rest of the staff from the front desk to activities are top notch. I think it's great.

We liked the community. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

So far it has been a good experience, our mother is really loving it there. The staff is wonderful, and the location is great. They are working on improving the meals, but there are plenty of activities going on. During the holidays they decorated for Thanksgiving and Christmas and that meant so much to our loved one after being isolated the first two years with the pandemic. It is expensive but it is all inclusive.

The staff are very friendly and helpful towards the residents. The food is excellent here. There are lots of activities for the residents to participate in if they choose. The community is beautiful. I love my room. There is housekeeping once a week. They have a beautiful lanai There is a library on site for the residents to use. They allow pets to come into the community and can live with the residents. They allow overnight guests. I have beautiful views from my room. The community has transportation for shopping trips and doctor appointments. [Name removed] was a delight to help me get into the community and was very helpful.

Our family is most appreciative of the great care my mom received at Barrington Terrace. My mom had limited mobility, but the staff always assisted her so that she could participate in the recreational activities. (Which she thoroughly enjoyed). The dining room is bright and cheerful and the chef was most accommodating to my mom’s dietary concerns. Thank you again for the wonderful care and attention given to my mom. gardens of Gainesville is a wonderful place with friendly people. the food and activites are great, i couldn't ask for anything better. if you are in need of assisted living, i would recommend this community!

We have been extremely pleased with Tiffany Court. The facility is all on one level so things are easy to get to. The staff are amazing and there are plenty of them. They take great care of her and are always very helpful anytime we need it. The facility itself is showing its age, I think it could be a little bit cleaner. They have just been begun updating the facility with new carpet and paint. They do not take Medicaid, so if you run out of money you do have to move out. Overall it has been fantastic and I would recommend them to others who are looking.

I like it very much. It's a very nice place. The staff are wonderful. They're very friendly and helpful. The food is good, and they send you a menu that you get to choose from. They bring you three snacks a day. They did have some Covid cases recently, but they handled the situation very well and kept those cases to a minimum. Having visiting other places, I like the fact that the hallways are much larger at Fox Hollow and conducive to use for physical therapy. Their cost was the most affordable I could find, and they had no outrageous down payment. My only issue has been that the building does not seem conducive to computer usage. It's an older building, still very nice, but I've had connectivity issues with my computer.

My mother has lived at Tuscany Villa of Naples for almost 2 years. She is very happy there. The variety of fun activities keep her socially involved. The staff is helpful and caring. My family is very thankful for everyone at Tuscany!

I have lived at Tuscany Villa for over a year. The staff is great. It deserves to have the reputation of being a "five star senior living".

Based on the communities in the Fort Wayne area, Five Star Residences is the best

They lost the house keeper a month ago and they have not been able to find someone else. It has been about a month but they stated that they are working on finding someone. The staff that I have met have been very friendly. This is a good place, they are struggling a little bit right now but I am glad that mom is here and we are satisfied overall. The meals have been boxed and served on the weekends in the rooms right now due to staffing in the kitchen and i was not aware of this. I would like to see less boxed meals.
