Five Star Senior Living

This is a good community. There is no nurse of staff 24 hours a day.

It's a good place with the quality, and the staff is friendly. It's a place you'd want to leave your mom in their care.

I toured The Devon Senior Living and it would have been our other choice, because it's close and within a ten minute drive. It was very nice; we took the tour and had no problem, but when I called after the tour to discuss prices and no one ever called me back. So that sort of phished me towards other community. The Devon had very nice people who seemed very caring.

We're very happy with Somerford and feel our family member is safe and well taken care of.

It is a lot of money, but my loved one is getting great care so it is worth it. I would recommend Tiffany Court at Kingston to anybody looking.

My elderly mother has been living here for a year. She was residing at [removed] here at The Forum at Overland Park and had always concentrated on anything unpleasant, usually any little ailment. She has changed tremendously since moving here! We haven't heard her this pleased in years, since our father died. She enjoys the politeness of the entire staff, the cuisine, the cleanliness, and, most importantly, the activities.

We toured with Morningview at Irving Park and had a really good experience. We liked the staff and what they had to offer, but it came down to the location for our family. We wanted to be able to get to her quickly if needed.

So thankful I found Washington Township Senior Living. Everyone is friendly, the food is great, and my apartment is spacious. I never knew this place existed, it is hidden behind Jefferson Hospital. Calling this place my new home is the best part.

We really enjoy and appreciate their constant communication with us, they always keep us up to date and informed on any changes. We really like all the personal care they give our loved one and we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

I've been impressed with how warm and friendly the staff are. They seem like they really know how to deal with a variety of issues and situations, which really gives me peace of mind. Overall for the money, it's a good value over other places we saw.

They do not have carpet in the rooms which may be helpful for others to know. I would also just make sure your loved one knows how to operate the call bells that they provide for the residents. Overall I would recommend Mroningview at Irving Park as long as you are able to afford them.

Our family had an in person tour and this was a top alternative for us. We were very impressed with the facility itself and they seem to have an active activities program and the activities director seem very energetic

We are happy with our experience so far with Five Star Residences. The staff members have been so nice and even though our loved one is in independent living they frequently check in on her which we appreciate. Also the meals and dining service is very good there.

I want to thank the staff, the friends and "family" of my mom [name removed]. She loved College View so very much for the friendship and support of each and every one of you. Fron the wonderful activities to the dining room crew, card playing buddies and just all the love and laughter you all shared with her in the last seven years she got to spend in your lives. May God bless you all and please know how much she looked forward to every day walking down the halls and visiting with everyone. We know you by the stories she told in every conversation we had. The location was perfect for where we needed our mother in law to be in proximity to our family. When we went for the initial tour visit everyone was really friendly and our mother in law actually saw two people that she knew from years ago that were actually residents there which was a definite impact. Also the availability for outdoor space as far as a balcony was an absolute must.

They have exceeded our expectations in terms of caring and being supportive and understanding the transition period. They have been understanding with our family members as well as our loved one.

This place truly is 5 stars! Our mom adores living here - and tells all of us that every day! She is busy as a bee, with her schedule of classes, activities and celebrations. Her apartment is the perfect size, with weekly housekeeping and a warm, homey feel. The dining room is truly spectacular, with the nicest staff, huge selection (seafood, fish and all!) to choose from and delicious! Our mom has rides provided to her for her doctor appointments, grocery store visits, and other places that she would like to visit. Her apartment has a wonderful porch to sit and play games on, a beach across the street, and a beautiful pool on the water behind the building. All of our family members just love to visiti!!! What's not to love! There is even a physical therapy center on site. Thank you SO much to the warm, caring staff at Five Star for taking such wonderful care of our mom. We, as a family, are forever grateful.

I remember the day I walked into Huntington Memory Care- exhausted, fearful for my Uncle and his well-being and completely unaware of what my next steps should be…and then I met [name removed] the RN and Todd the LPN. Their care and concern gave me immediate comfort and the facility calmed my deep fears on where my Uncle could be placed to ensure his safety and his health. I knew immediately that this was the place and they were going to help me “make it all right.”… Please continue your great work and please accept my heartfelt thank you. Your work and that of your staff is so greatly needed and our community is fortunate to have Huntington Place to meet those needs.
