Our loved one was their for respite, we were only allowed to see the front lobby because of the covid restrictions but the community was nice enough and the staff was very friendly.

We chose Washington Gardens mostly because the cleanliness, I visited several places and this was the most clean and did not have the stench. My moms stay here was short but they handled my moms care here very well. The meals here were awesome and the activities and outings that they provided were great as well. The only complaint I have was if I would call and leave messages to ask them to help and get her ready if I needed to take her out, it would never happen. They also never notified me of the downward changes that were happening with my mom, so they fell short with communication sometimes. Overall, I would recommend as long as you can be an advocate for your family member and can initiate that communication with the facility.

We visited a lot of other communities and this was the first one we went to. We were very impressed, it is brand new and looks almost like a resort area, and the people were very friendly. The rooms are nice and well equipped for wheel chairs. It was overall a good first impression.

Ashley Glen has always been very attentive to my mom and her needs, she loves it there and calls it home. However, I understand that Covid has turned things upside down. My mom's lack of socializing has taken a toll on her. The residents should be able to eat their meals together and socialize with each other. The lockdown of the seniors has been going on too long. It's time to let them out and live whatever time they may have left.

My mom was at Pineridge for 7 years. She was their longest resident until she passed away two years ago. We have a large family and pretty much one of us was there visiting each day, usually around lunch time. We liked that they had two wings. When she first moved in she was in the wing for the more independent residents. There was activities all the time. Bingo, live music, socials, etc. As her disease progressed she moved into the other wing for more care. Incontinence, help eating and food designed more for her condition (puree, finger food, etc.). The facility was clean and in the 7 years they always seemed to be upgrading and remodeling/painting. The majority of the staff were very friendly. They didn't seem to have a high turnover in staff and they seemed to genuinely care about the people in their care. My mother had excellent care. 7 years is long enough to know how this place was ran.

Families need to visit often and they need to take charge of their loved ones care. The have had a lot of staff turnover. which is hard for the residents. They don't seem the advise families of what the residents needs are. I don't know that she is out of supplies unless I am there and see it myself. They staff need to be more proactive with care and communication. It is very clean and the meals are great.

I love my apartment! I am disabled and it is just the perfect size for me to get around in. They clean it for me every other weekend and immediately take care of any problems I have with it. The people who I meet here are so friendly and the staff is so gracious. They sure have enough organized entertainment everyday to participate in or not. I hope that I can afford to live here for the rest of my life!

The Inn is a beautiful place with staff who are always helpful. The residents are friendly and welcome newcomers. Many activities are planned weekly, so there's always something to do.

Took a tour today with [name removed]. He was very helpful. I would love to have my cousin live here. Just need to work out the finances. [date removed]

This place is geared towards those more independent. It is a gated community set among a beautiful 12 acres. The food was well prepared! The rooms were adequate and can be personalized. Very tastefully decorated. Staff was friendly and residents appeared happy and content.

They didn't know I was coming but the staff put together a quick tour for me, this place is cozy and seems fun, everyone was pretty happy. Would be one of my top three picks.

This facility has highly exceeded my expectations. They seem to be taking really good care of my Mother and she is really happy here. My mom is always freshly showered with clean clothes on when I visit. The staff is always quick in accommodating her needs. When I was visiting her during meal time the food looked fabulous. They had ham, zucchini, scalloped potatoes, and a brownie. This community is beautiful and I would recommend it to other families.

My mom is there currently and the staff has been good so far, but they’re a bit understaffed. I think they could use some more people but the staff that’s there is very easy to communicate with. I haven’t had the chance to try the food but my mom must think it’s good because she seems to be eating okay. The food looks and smells good and the soup is actually soup, it isn’t just broth. The cleanliness of the facility is really good, also. Some of the activities that I’ve seen or heard of are primarily group related. They’ll try to get most of the residents in a circle to participate. One time they were playing horseshoes with bean bags, another time they were doing word association games, I’ve seen that a few times. They’re doing their best to try and get everyone to socialize and my mom seems to be responding well. The other residents seem to be fine. Overall, I would recommend them.

The Inn at Los Patios is truly a unique place to live it. It is located on acres of beautiful trees and walking paths along Salado Creek. Everyone here is very friendly and there are lots of activities to keep us busy and entertained. One can make many new friends and we become like one big family.

I was touring different communities when I was trying to find a place for my sister and when I came here, I was impressed with the fact that they offered memory care as well. It meant that she would be able to stay there if she needed that type of care. They said that they had a multi-million dollar renovation, but it all seemed a little somber to me. Otherwise, the accommodations were acceptable.

My father has been at Catalina Springs for about a month now, and overall, it had been a good experience. Our only issue is that the staff said that his pictures would be hung in his room as soon as he moved in, and it still isn’t done. I had to ask them again last week to do it. Other than that, it’s fine. The staff is generally very good, and they take good care of him. My father likes the food, which is half the battle because he’s a picky eater. They do have activities, but my father usually doesn’t participate, being more of a loner by nature. He does have a group of gentlemen that he eats with and socializes with on occasion. The place is clean, and my father likes that it is a relatively small community. Over all, Catalina Springs has been a good experience for us.

My husband was living here in the Silverado when he had to have a partial hip replacement. After needing a partial hip replacement, they had my husband staying in the rehabilitation facility for about 2 months and then they moved him back into assisted living. It was nice how they took care of him but also that they have so many options within the facility for the residents in case something happens. The only issues I have are that the expenses can definitely add up, and the building is large and often confusing. I wouldn’t recommend this place for anyone needing memory care or has dementia, but otherwise this place is beautiful.

I have no complaints of how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. The staff have been friendly and I am comfortable with the quality of care she has been receiving. She has had no problems with the meals and enjoys participating in a few of the activities they have from time to time with the other residents. Overall it has been a great place and we are thankful for this place.

This community is very nice. The community has been renovated in the past few years.The community is very clean no odors very well kept. It has a great staff very nice and attentive makes you feel welcome anytime you are there. The food is very good. My friend's husband knows of women who had done quite a lot of research on this community before determining that she would be placing her husband there soon and that was the deciding factor or my friend's husband.

He's been doing good at Arbor Oaks Terrace Memory Care. The staff is very nice and friendly but they seem overworked. The girls work hard and it is a hard job. They did hire some more staff and they are still in the process of hiring an activities director. Sometimes I help out with the activities. The food is good and they feed my loved one plenty. I love it there and I like the setup. It is less confusing and more like his own home than the last place we were at. He doesn't have to walk so far to get to the dining room. Sometimes I wish the floors were cleaner in the resident's bathrooms, but I think that is because they don't have enough staff to do everything. They take the residents for walks and I go with them if it happens during my visits. There is a nicely landscaped courtyard with some seating available. I'm glad it is conveniently located so that I can visit often.
