Wonderful and knowledgeable nurses 24 hours a day, director of nursing is friendly and present for questions and care issues. Mom has a private room and bath facility, utilities are included.

As in all places have some really good and caring staff and just there for paycheck. The campus stuck out over other places.

One of the few places that offers assisted living type B for my brother-in-law and could admit my sister for independent living. Willingness to work with them as a couple was appreciated. Parking is often not available, sometimes having to park 2 blocks away.

I think that for people that don't need any special care , this place exceed any expectation. But in the case my mom , with disability, and level 3 of care , sometimes I get very frustrated. They don't exceed my expectations. I would recommend this place for any person with lower level of care . For sure.

It'll be 11 years that I lived here in July. Our activities team and concierge team make this place run. I have made a lot of wonderful friends who are all going through the same phase of life. Our executive director has done a wonderful job changing the culture at Harbour Village.

Staff all very friendly and helpful. Residents all very friendly too. Nurses on top of everything. Activities super. Cleaning service changes. People leave also don't clean everything like dusting. Meals cook but would be excellent if not hot. Feels sorry that caregivers.

The facility was clean and well maintained. The staff was responsive to my parents needs whenever I brought something up. The food was very good. The rooms were spacious. Although my parents were bilingual, their first language was Spanish, so I do wish that they would've had some more Spanish-speaking staff.

The staff is excellent! People here are all very friendly! The meals make me feel like I am going to dinner every night due to the linens and flowers on the tables. I am kept very busy with all the activities.

I am so pleased with the variety of activities that Harbour Village offers especially the trivia and game shows. The staff involvement with the residents is great! Events like the Kentucky Derby and the chili cook off this!

I've been here for 2 years and was reluctant in the beginning but now made several friends. The food is good the staff is great. I would recommend it highly to anyone looking.

It is a spacious, and newer facility, lots of rooms you can have family functions in, the place smells good, they will do laundry daily if needed...the only complaint was the nurse director was never around , but she just left, so I am hoping the new one is more accessible.

As mom is in independent living, she is not receiving any care from the facility. Staff has been responsive to maintenance needs. I don't eat at the dining room but mom seems to enjoy the food. I believe the sizes of apartments vary, amenities offered are good, mom is battling cognitive decline and sadly doesn't participate in many of the activities.

The facility is very nice. However, they were, at times, a little understaffed. I am the son of a former resident. My father passed away on [date removed]. He was only in The Avalon for about three weeks, but liked the experience overall. He said the food was “just O.K.” But he liked the staff, enjoyed meeting the other residents and liked the activities and amenities.

99% of the staff (especially the aids), are excellent. I do have issues with one nurse who refuses to communicate well. But the aids more than make up for her lacking professionalism/care. I don’t consider the food as good or as nutritious as it was a year ago.

1. The overall experience has been good 2. The facility is very clean 3. Most of the staff is wonderful 4. Mom get great care 5. The admin staff are good as far as I know. Once she moved in we don't really see them much 6. I feel we were mislead on food. They assured us the had gluten free but from some issues mom has had it's not truly gluten free. Ex: the bread may be gluten free but when it's warmed or toasted with other bread it is no longer gluten free - it is contaminated for someone with gluten issues. Another thing is the good was exceptional in the beginning but not always edible now. Another time they had chicken salad sandwich. Mom asked for the chicken salad without bread and was told she could have a sandwich or nothing. I hear others complaining now too so it's not just us. 7. Mom has been ill and hasn't participated in many activities but they do have something all the time. 8. Money value - not as good now that we are having to buy food.

The Delaney Independent Living, is a great place to live. My uncle who is elderly owns a beautiful home but could no longer live on his own. After visiting a number of places we settled on The Delaney at Parkway Lakes. The staff, the atmosphere and the food are all A+.

When it comes to the care service's its a 4 from aids, 2 from some nursing staff. Activities we liked even though Mom didn't join in. Yes, we would recommend Heritage at Irene Woods to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

The residents there are the best! We made some good friends while we were there. We weren't really impressed with the food, it was very good in the beginning, but became very repetitive, and since they changed ownership, it seems like they ran out of food. Also, they were going through change of management when we left, so they were short of waiters. There were times you had to wait almost an hour to get your food! That being said, all of the waiters and helpers there are very friendly, and helpful. It wasn't anything that they could help. We probably would have stayed if their rent wouldn't have raised so high. I don't think they are any different from any other independent living care that is out there. I do think they need to figure their food bill different though. If you don't use it all on food, you should get a credit on it, or some taken off your rent. We wasted at least [amount removed]a month on unused food! All considered, we were happy with the people we met there.

I think one of the important things for me in making a decision in which facility I would live in is the fact that it was smaller and it gave me the opportunity to meet just about everyone. I also like the idea that if I should need assisted-living, I would not have to move that to was important to me. I like the idea that Havenwood in Richfield is in a community neighborhood and just kind of falls in. The activities and the events coordinator are wonderful. They are in the process of hiring some new people for the kitchen and I think that will be a good change. The top Chef here is amazing and we have a wonderful breakfast and lunch the evening dinner needs huge improvement. So I am excited about hiring another chef. my family is very welcome here and enjoy coming to see me. I also like the fact that there are laundry facilities in my apartment. The maintenance person here is also a great person to work with when I moved in and there were any things to be fixed they were done immediately. Nothing is perfect, but I would say the major concern are the evening dinner meals. One other thing I would like to mention is that I think that the resident council meeting should be for the residence without staff involvement. When residence mentioned anything that would be a concern we never hear what the staff has in mind to address that residence concern. It would really be nice if someone could come into our facility and talk about a resident council meeting and how it should be organized and set up. I'm kind of thinking that's all I have to share. All in all is a great place to live.
