We had to hire a full time aide there because the level of care was terrible. She was falling and having issues. She had a long term care policy that covered it, and initially we liked it because it was clean and there were activities. She didn't do any of them, the food was terrible and care was terrible. It was a bust.

Really did not like the facility. Did not like the way they segregate their memory care residents from the rest of the communities. Residents we met on the assisted care floor didn't seem happy. Were appalled by the way they treated their birds - don't have birds if you don't know what you are doing with them. Appalling. If you can't properly house and take care of your animals -what would you do to my mother! Horrible. Staff we saw on assisted care floors were very friendly within themselves, but I didn't see that translate to the residents. The take home brownie was a nice touch but was necessary. Put the money into the care, not the decor and marketing.

After visiting a friend who had been moved there, what I already knew to be true was confirmed. Call lights go unanswered for LONG periods (15 to 50 minutes!!), bathing/grooming is ignored for days on end, residents are left alone far too long when the shouldn't be, meals are sometimes not delivered to rooms and if they are - placed out of reach of residents who are unable to move about easily. This resulted in my friend losing nearly 15% of his admission weight in less than 2 weeks. I would not recommend this place to anyone!!!

It has taken me months to be able to sit and write this review as I am dreading reliving the horrors I experienced after moving my grandmother into Cameron Hall of Canton. I apologize if it could have helped someone sooner. After losing her only 2 sons, and caregivers, within a year I had to move my sweet 92 yo grandmother into an assisted living. I spent a lot of time researching homes in the area as I wanted her close by. Cameron Hall seemed like a great place and very close to me. She moved in the beginning of February, mobile and in pretty good spirits. Our biggest issue was getting her to eat sufficiently. The first 3 weeks seemed to go OK. There were issues with her getting her meds on time and such but nothing serious and nothing I couldn’t handle by just running up there. Towards the end of February, she hurt her back trying to help a wheelchair bound woman get her wheelchair unstuck. Everything went downhill quickly from here. Now she bed ridden and in constant pain. At this point I had never received a call from Cameron Hall telling me that she hurt her back. My grandmother and the members of her hospice were the only one contacting me to let me know what was going on. Even though Cameron Hall is being PAID for this service. She was eating much less than before and I counted on the staff to try to entice her to eat. At the very minimum to let me know that she wasn’t. But I still had never heard from Cameron Hall. Come March, corona-virus has set in and the facility is locking down. On [date removed] she called to tell me that she had horrible back pain and wasn’t getting any relief. The med staff told me that they couldn’t give her her morphine due to policies but, due to Covid, I wasn’t supposed to go in the building. After raising cane, they let me get in to give her her morphine. I blew her a kiss and told her how much I loved her. I couldn’t hug or kiss her and this would be the last time I saw her alive. I contacted the Manager of Resident care and expressed my concerns. At first I was given all sorts of excuses and eventually was told they COULD in fact give her the morphine and I was promised that she would be taken care of and that this would not happen again. On [date removed] she called at 11:30am to tell me that she hadn’t gotten ANY of her morning meds, much less pain meds. 11:30!!!!!!! This should have happened around 8am. She was in tears and obviously bad pain. I spoke with a med tech who told me that she was the only med-tech on staff at the time and she was trying to take care of other residents who had fallen and had to go to the hospital. Yes, I am serious… she said that. After this I was ready to bring her to my house or move her but due to Covid, my options were not many. I contacted the Resident Care Manager again. She apologized and told me that the med-tech shouldn’t have told me that and she would get this resolved. I didn’t have any faith at this point and was counting on her hospice, who I was NOT paying thousands a month to help me ensure she was taken care of. There were a handful of other incidents over the next 10 days. Keep in mind I still have NEVER received a call from Cameron Hall to tell me anything. On [date removed] she called me about 11am, still bed ridden with severe back pain and now sick to her stomach. She said she couldn’t stop throwing up. Imagine the pain for a 90lb 92 yo woman with back pain… She said the nurse had told her over an hour ago that she would be back with meds but never came back. She was crying and sounded so very weak. (This is so hard to write) I called and asked AGAIN why and was told they were going to investigate and get her taken care of. I tried calling my grandmother back many times between that call and 5pm. I also thought I would hear from Cameron Hall to let me know what was going on. I tried calling them back but couldn’t get anyone to answer there either. At 5pm, her hospice team, NOT Cameron Hall called to tell me that she had passed. I NEVER received a call from Cameron Hall about her care

Under Coronavirus lockdown they won’t even get my mom groceries. $5000 a month??? Said family is dropping stuff off. We live out of state

I would rate this facility negative stars if I could. My father developed stage 4 bed soars at Savannah Square. The staff I encountered doesn't care nor do they pay any attention to the patients. The managem ent has turned over twice in the 5 months my father was there. No accountability or compassion from anyone there. If I can save one person from encountering the level of care at this facility, I have done my duty. Don't send anybody you love to this facility.

would not recommend!!!! Starts off very nice. Give it a month and it quickly changes!!!!!

If you want your loved one to sit for hours in their own waste....not just once, but many, many times....this is the place for you.

I was a student here for clinicals and i do not advise sending your loved ones here if it is for a short amount of time. I saw first hand illegal activities of passing meds when the indivual was not liscended to. The care and respect for the patients is extremely low one of the lowest i’ve seen. If you want your loved ones to be respected, treated with the correct care, constantly looked after and even be in a healthy state do NOT send them here.

Don’t leave your love one there. Would give this place 0 stars. My Dad spent only one night for rehab after hospital stay. They overdosed him and then lied to us and said he had not been given any meds. Dad was unconscious but staff refused to call 911. Said they had to do paperwork first to transfer him to hospital and were too busy to call. Said to call 911 myself if that’s what I wanted. I did and paramedics said Dad had been drugged. He was there for rehab but had him so drugged he never was able to receive physical therapy. The room he stayed in was cramped and dirty. Wall air conditioner was all moldy. Staff did not seem happy to work there. Drugged Dad because he woke up in the morning and wandered outside his room looking for his wife. Worst place ever. Dad would have died if we hadn’t found him unconscious and got him to the hospital. I wanted to share so no one would leave a family member there ever!

The memory care unit is awful!!! Someone has to be their voice. We would never recommend this facility and REGRET sending our family member there. The 5 star ratings have NOTHING TO DO WITH THE MEMORY CARE UNIT. The whole place strongly smells of urine, rugs are dirty, consistently dirty diapers and vinyl gloves on the floors, no activities, residents left in front of the television for hours, residents look dirty, their is no regular routine of washing the residents and not enough linens for the beds. The activities and things to do in the main room of the memory care unit is JUST for show and are JUST selling points. The administration just talks and yeses you to death. No one is held accountable, especially the administration. We had read the couple of the one star reviews and we should not have ignored them! I do not want the administration to respond to this review. Actions speak louder than words.

This place is a total disappointment. Smells of urine constantly. People in hallways staring into space. Caregivers only pay attention to residents when family shows up. Horrible nursing care. Would never recommend anyone to live here or for families to chose this place for a loved one. Awful top to bottom.

I am a resident and this place is so disappointing. The food is always cold and dining room staff are very rude. Maintenance is sub par. I have put in numerous requests and nothing gets done. Director doesn't care about us. He needs to go.

My mother age 82 is at the Forum dying of stage 4 cancer and has resided there for a few years. I'd rather she be put in a DOG KENNEL than at the Forum! The care, the aides and the nurses don't care, leave my mother in soiled garments and when I call the nurses station because I just spoke to her and she is in pain under her breast or in her legs or in her rear end, they merely pass the buck and tell me, they will find a nurse because the nurse is doing her rounds. They do not care, they do not have any priorities aND DO NOT PUT YOUR MOTHER, FATHER OF ANY LOVED ONE THERE. MY SISTER HAS POWER OF ATTORNEY AND HEALTH CARE PROXY AND i CAN DO NOTHING TO HELP MY MOTHERS BAD CARE AT THE FORUM. YOU CAN-PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE-[removed] WAS THE FIRST NURSING HOME SHE WAS IN ANDMY SISTER SHOULD HAVE LEFT HER THERE!

My friend was fine at first when his needs were few. As his needs increased, the staff were apathetic, made themselves absent. He began to fall weekly and upon my visitations had no idea where he was. Turnover is excessive. It is a lot fluff. Pretty surroundings, dig deep for uncleaniness.

Memory care is a zoo . please check out other facilities. I have medical POA with my partner and informed I have no right to change primary doctor although this was on the advice of my attorney.

The worst... my mom was only sent here for rehab and she never got a chance to come back home. They hardly ever answer to the call light. The charge nurse at the front desk is extremely rude. The staff is negligent, They lie to cover each other’s backs and now that my mom is gone all I can get is a “I’m sorry for your loss!”
