Five Star Senior Living

We toured here when we were looking. We were thoroughly pleased with them. The residents were all well kept, clean, and happy. We didn't get a chance to see the activities, but they had an extensive activities calendar. If mom was there she would definitely be participating.

Clarks Summit Senior Living does a fantastic job overall! The staff here are careful, thorough, and polite, they take wonderful care of the people who live here. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they've got plenty to offer in terms of services and activities. I'd give them top marks across the board, I am very pleased with it.

My husband was only a resident for about 2 months before he died however he was well cared for and was assisted in all areas to become part of the community. Jonathan Ellis was particularly helpful in providing support to my husband and to me. His kindness and understanding was so valuable. I would highly recommend this facility!! Gail Kropf

Mom was kind of depressed at first, but after getting in there she is very happy and smiles a lot. The food is very good. They do a really good job keeping me informed of how mom is doing. The staff is really awesome. Any time mom has pressed the button to need something they have been very fast to respond. It's been a really great experience.

My mother in law has been at Caneron Hall for 2 years and she is very happy there! All the staff are very loving and caring folks!! Our family is so glad we found them and know that she is getting the best care!!

It's working out, they are doing a good job so far. I don't have any concerns, no complaints about food or anything. We are pretty happy with them so far.

They are simply wonderful! Every time I need a place to put mom for a little while I rely on Tiffany Court at Kingston and they do an excellent job, and mom really likes it as well. They are very patient with mom, and area always there for her. I would highly recommend Tiffany Court at Kingston.

I had a difficult situation and they really accommodated me. Not everybody would have been as understanding. They were willing to work around my schedule, answer any questions I had, were very friendly throughout the whole process, etc. I would highly recommend Morningside of Auburn to anyone.

Kitchen staff, caregivers, and cleaning staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. Activities could be more inclusive of assisted living, re: outings only allow for able-bodied residents.

Aspenwood Senior Living has been wonderful for my husband Tony. He is enjoying his dinner (included) and is purchasing his breakfast and lunch as well. They are caring and have allowed him to do what he wants most of the time. Thanks for referring this facility!

I just recently moved my 86-year-old mother into OPP from my childhood house - she had lived there 57 years! It was a very hard experience for her to give up her home but she just couldn't keep it up any longer. The OPP staff have made her transition from a huge ranch home into a 2-bedroom apartment very positive and pleasant! Even the residents have embraced my mother with open arms, always talking with her, involving her in the activities planned and helping her feel accepted and important. OPP has an Ambassador program that pairs the newcomer with an established resident, who assists them their first week there, showing them around, making sure they get to their correct meal sittings, answering all questions, etc. It's such a relief for me, being out of state, to know that I can call any of the staff there at any time to ask them to assist her, o r check in with her if I can't reach her by phone. This is an older retirement community, celebrating 30 years in Overland Park, but it is centrally-located, has great services, and is professionally operated.

They do a fantastic job at NewSeasons. The facility itself is very nice looking, and very clean, and the staff are all wonderful. My love done had a hard time settling in, but everyone was so patient and so understanding and they did their best to make his stay a comfortable one.

This past summer my Mother took a turn for the worse. Surgery and a stint in a local senior rehabilitation center made us realize that she would no longer be able to live alone. We were given short notice that the rehabilitation center would be releasing her and so I went on a flurry of visits to local assisted living communities with the help of A Place for Mom. Clearwater Commons Senior Living Community was my fifth stop. All it took was an hour of touring, visiting with the staff, and talking the particulars of my Mother's situation and needs to know that this was where I wanted her to live. A few days later I brought my sister to tour and talk and we set the wheels in motion to move Mom to Clearwater Commons. Over the next two months my Mother experienced some issues and the rehabilitation kept extending her stay. In the meantime we had possession of her apartment at Clearwater Commons and were able to furnish it and have it ready for her arrival. She got to tour the facility and have dinner in the dining room so she knew where she was going and liked it. The staff was flexible, helpful, and the first to offer to help in any way they could. They made everything so easy for us. Everyone there was friendly and open. They would often stop to introduce themselves and ask my sister and me about my Mom and when she would be coming to stay as we worked to get her apartment ready. Unfortunately she died a couple of weeks before she was scheduled to leave the rehabilitation center and move into her apartment. I cannot praise the staff and residents of Clearwater Commons enough. They made us feel like part of the family and that extends to the atmosphere of the place. That's why it was such an easy choice once I visited. I would recommend Clearwater Commons to anyone looking fo r a comfortable, well managed, and friendly place for a relative, friend, or yourself. I know when my time comes to consider assisted livie, if Clearwater Commons is still part of the Five Star Senior Community, they will be top of my list!

The facility is clean and well maintained. The staff is caring and friendly. They do a great job of keeping the residents engaged. I have a habit of showing up at times a little outside of the normal, but whatever time I have been in there, the staff has always been attentive to the needs of the residents. You won't see any slacking. while all of the places I toured through A Place For Mom were outstanding, I chose Somerford for the staff, and the location, which is most convenient for me.

We have had some experience with The Forum at the Woodlands in the past, and overall we were very pleased with how things turned out! Everyone is very friendly, and they do a great job taking care of the people that live here. They are definitely worth a look if you are looking into senior living in the area!

I'm very happy with how things have gone at Five Star of Chevy Chase, they're doing a great job. I really appreciate that they went out of their way to help her get settled into the community. They learned about her, and then took her around and introduced her to residents who had similar interests and experiences, and she's been getting along great with everyone. The facility itself is very nice looking, and the staff are all friendly and helpful. They do a great job looking out for their residents, and the meal service is excellent. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking in the area!

They have physical therapists and hair salons. It's a lovely place. they have great food and shuttle services to local stores. It's a beautiful place. My dad stays here. We are very happy with the overall services.

Our experience at the Fox Hallow has been okay. The only thing is the quality of their food, which is a little poor. They could be more attentive to the individuals. People should be treated respectfully. Other than that, they are very friendly and I looked at a fair amount of places.

I am very happy with them. I have two people here now, and they are both very happy. It's clean and the staff is friendly, the food is very good. I don't have any complaints or concerns. It's a great place.
