The call light and a/c didn't work for the first few weeks. That was disappointing. I feel like sold services we didn't need, even after I said no. Now we are stuck paying higher rates

While my mother has enjoyed living here. I do feel that we were mislead during the tour about certain things. Interim Healthcare that they claim is their in house healthcare provider [name removed] LPN, never once returned a phone call in over 2 months to set my mother up for additional care, and their onsite office never had anyone there, I tried different days and times, and literally nobody was ever there. This was one of the main features that drew us to this property, as the Director [name removed] stated "care in place". We were also told that 3 meals a day were provided in the dinning room, but we were not told she would have assigned eating times, if she doesn't make her assigned time, she doesn't eat. She never gets to eat breakfast, as her assigned time is before she wakes up, and no there isn't a refund available. Also on Saturday and Sunday they do not get to eat in the dinning room for dinner, they are given a to go box at lunch for their dinner. Her room flooded, clogged drain.

Very good. Everything is fine thank you it worked out well. I would recommend.

My Mother has been there almost a year... While nothing is ever perfect... She has made nice friends there. She is close to her doctors. They clean the apartment once a week. The laundry room is close by and efficient. There are some nice events and exercise classes. The pool area is inviting and relaxing- we have lunch out there occasionally. They try to keep up with repairs. I'm approximately a half hour away and feel that she is safe there. Hope this helps. Of course it all depends on what you may need. They can get you to the grocery stores & Doctors appointments.

Most of them are friendly not all. They should acknowledge the residents with a smile. Some look they are doing us a favor. This is happening in the dining room. I have a two bedroom apartment and is space full. I love it.

I was not informed with the first visit that a years lease was required. It was when we were at the appointment to sign the lease they first informed us. They led me to believe that it would be possible to leave if an issue with my daughter's health changed we would not be held to the full lease. My daughter passed [date removed]. We moved her out in October and she came home. I believe we did end up paying November's rent but none after. [name removed] lease would have been up in May.

They had lots of music each week. The nurses and aids were extremely caring. There was times though when I felt my Mom needed to be checked on more often. The food was delicious and the administrators and maintenance folks were very responsive to any concerns. Lots of good snacks. Overall, everyone was very friendly.

It's been a great place for us. Although, there seems to be quite a bit of staff turnover lately.

Individual housekeeping for units is fair compared to the overall cleanliness. There is frequent turnover of management. They need more activities for men. The parking for visitors is a problem.

There are no real things that detract from this place. It is a top notch facility for independent senior living. I only rated them a 4 overall based on my mother's experience with their so-called "ambassador program " in which a resident is assigned to help a new resident get acclimated to their new surroundings. Mom didn't hear from anyone on this for at least a week after moving in. Turns out the woman assigned as her "ambassador " was sick. Another woman was subsequently assigned and mom met her and was told she was very busy as she still worked but she could always knock on her door, if needed. Certainly not a reason to blacklist the place but it is the only blemish on what has otherwise been a good experience for mom so far.

The community activities are outstanding. Communication at times could be improved on but overall our loved ones experience is good

Don't assume anything. Have a POLST when moving in. Know that there is a transition period during which the resident may be out of sorts. Don't pre-purchase meds as meds must be purchased from the facility's contracted pharmacy. I recommend to others.

We visited two others, one larger, and one smaller! This one just seemed right for him. Also it is located 5 minutes from our son, so it is convenient! One thing I can say is we are happy we chose the Gardens and he seems content. We feel blessed that the caregivers and staff are respectful to him, caring and compassionate and he is being provided safety and his needs are being met!

They provide transportation within 10 miles of the facility on designated days. Plenty of activities. A very nice facility overall.

My parents moved into Tuscany Villas last September. The staff are very hands on and involved in daily activities. The activities director is wonderful with the residents and so enthusiastic. All the staff is very caring and genuine and you will always see them helping residents at events. Tuscany went out of their way to help my parents get wifi in their apartment so they could stream church services. I highly recommend this facility and only wish they offered a memory care unit.

The residents seem content and staff is friendly. Staffing sometimes seems a little light on the weekends.

We have had a very good experience with The Palms of Lake Spivey. Only problem is a amount of help at the Palms. However, we are expecting this issue to be solve with management to address these issues as we move forward. We are extremely impressed with The Palms and [name removed] management acumen.

The activities were really exceptional. Our mom got involved right away, and we didn't expect that. They were fun but easy enough for someone with memory issues to participate. Because it is a one level lockdown, it's open and airy, and there are lots of places to sit and visit. It is kind of a "free range" environment, though, and that took a little while to get used to.... residence lounging and napping here and there.

The faculty and staff are very supportive It took awhile to get used to them coming in often to check on me. Daytime aides more flexible than those that work at night.

I like the location, the services they offer, the availability of the nursing staff to help or to answer questions. The PA comes once a month, which is so helpful to keep up to date on medical issues, without ever leaving the facility.
