My uncle was At The Palms for three months. They assessed him before he moved in in his care needs went up significantly while he was there. He has now moved into another facility that can provide a higher level of care. The staff was great, especially [name removed]. She was amazing and very caring with my uncle. Thank you.

Everyone is very welcoming there and they have lots of wonderful activities to keep the residence entertained. I would recommend it

The quality of the facility is very good and the entire revocation they did earlier this year is great. The quality of the food is terrible. The admin staff have ignored multiple requests to have our bill reduced while my mother is up north, despite their commitment to do so when we were in sales mode.

The facility outsources overnight security. They don't have an online platform for Bill pay. They did not have wearable call buttons for residents to add on. The staff are very friendly and there are events almost daily to keep loved ones occupied

My home away from my own home. Clean room, comfortable bed, fine tv, good food, pleasant atmosphere acceptance of my dog, great helpful staff meds always on time need sweeper.

Though I pay for service of laundry, linen change w/my own linens every single week. I am forced to remind staff every single week.. It's on the written schedule.

Everyone there is extremely friendly n helpful. When I visit my mom she is in clean clothes n is happy. She can’t tell me things but the staff says she enjoys her meals. I like that a few times a month they take them on outings. That is very important to me. I also appreciate that they take the dementia ward to join in on group activities that they sometimes have. There seems to always b someone available but I do wish they had 1 or 2 additional aides but I have yet to c a true need for one other then they can have a little bit more one on one time with residents.

DINING ROOM For starters the dining room is having serious staff shortages. They recently changed from buffet style serving with a couple of choices for entrees, salad, and even sandwiches if you wanted something different. Now they have a menu and you place your order like in a restaurant. But for the past couple of weeks it has taken up to an hour or maybe a little more, before they get their food. Which is way too long for seniors in a facility like this. HOUSEKEEPING The housekeeper staff are supposed to come in once a week to clean up the apartment. To my knowledge and I could be wrong because I didn't document it, but I think they have been coming in once every couple of months for this whole past year! When they do come they empty the trash, vacuum the middle of the floor in the bedroom & living room. They have yet to clean the shower, toilets, nor the bathroom sinks . If there are any dishes in the sink they will throw them in the dishwasher and start it. They sweep the kitchen floor with a broom, but it doesn't appear to be mopped at all. Also the floor in the kitchen has a rip in it and we alerted them to it when he first moved in, but have gotten no answers and it hasn't been repaired nor replaced. I know it doesn't seem like much to people who deal with apartments every day, but when seniors on social security and have a very strict budget and limited funds, have to pay $[fee removed] for one person living in the apartment. That's a lot of money! I expected a little more from the people at this property.

We appreciate [name removed] and the staff. Mom enjoys the company of the residents and convenience of services. We wish the shuttle was available every day.

The staff is very nice and are always helpful. The food is good. There are all kinds of activities and entertainment.

Only thing keeping this from a 5 is maintenance. Routine maintenance is lacking. Examples are changing of furnace filters. Cleaning of outdoor air conditioner units (ie. Fins are not cleaned until the system cannot cool to a comfortable 72 degrees. Individual work orders are required by renters when these things fail.

The forum is a great place for seniors who do not need a lot of support. Seniors have to be relatively independent to be successful in this community. The people are very nice and the facilities are also really nice. There is not much of a difference in the level of care as your senior ages that is available. They are a great facility. My dad's illness just progressed faster than we anticipated.

Staff is great. Facility has many great amenities, and the community culture is good. They have had a couple of changes regarding food/head chef over the past year, and hope to see it rebound to its former 5-star status.

I would say that it is a great place. I would recommend. There are a lot of social activities and outings. It's not cheap but also not the most expensive place in town.

It is a friendly, welcoming environment with lots to do. The meals are excellent. My cottage is everything I could ask for in a great place to live this chapter of life! Staff are competent and courteous. Even the young people who work as dining room servers learn your name very quickly. Most anyone on staff knows my name and addresses me by it. My experience with P T and O T has been very positive. I really enjoy the opportunities for fun interactions with other adults. I am thrilled to be here and know this was the right choice for me. I have only tried to get food delivered once. Other residents did confirm it is difficult to accomplish.

My Mom is finally better acclimated and certain needs have been met, but it's taken a little bit of time to do so. Thank you for inquiring. I'm thinking price point is a determining factor, being all things equal.

I like the friendliness and all the activities. Very friendly staff. Yes, I would recommend this community to other families but not the lower cottages until they fix the flooding problem.

Confirm all the details prior to move in day with the office staff. There did not seem to be a lot of communication between sales and the front office. Once you are in and established, things are good.

The dining was good. Cleanliness was good. The staff was friendly. I would recommend Cameron Hall of Canton to others.

The staff is great in general. However, the lady at the front desk got frazzled pretty quickly when more people were trying to get questions answered. The cleaning staff leaves a lot to be desired, in the residential rooms. I would recommend a lower level unit and get as close to the entrance/exit door as possible.
