What we like the most about Overlook Green is the friendliness and that my sister feels comfortable. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Very friendly staff. We chose this facility mainly due to the price and the cleanliness.

The staff has been extremely supportive and caring. They provided the guidance I needed to navigate the adjustments we've had to make to accommodate my grandmother's needs. I really appreciate how attentive the staff has been to my grandmother's changing medical needs. Every time I visit, my grandmother is happily engaged in an activity and looks comfortable in her "home away from home" as she describes it. Morningside helps to take away many of the worries I've had with becoming my grandmother's caregiver.

It's a "city " of its own! A resident has any amenity needed to live a full- senior life independently right there onsite! Beauty salon; movies every night, tours to museums. Transportation available for shopping to groceries, etc. Plus transportation to doctor appointments within a ten-mi radius. What more could a senior resident need? All utilities are provided in tent; along with WiFi. A medical monitor is provided for safety of residents. Housekeeping services include once a week stripping soiled linens ; washing & folding & bed remade. Vacuuming, dusting; as well as cleaning bathrooms & kitchen sinks. Laundry for personal items available to residents at no charge. Two meals: breakfast & dinner are available in dining room. Menus of your choice are included. Lunch is available @ an affordable cost. (Should a resident have a contagious medical issue; meals are delivered to their room. What more could a senior need?) BTW: church services are held @ my facility Sunday afternoon @ 2pm.@

This is easy - they're all fives! Couldn't have imagined a better place for my respite care. The staff were so attentive & friendly it made it very hard to leave. When I first arrived at Heartlands I was greeted with a welcome sign followed by another sign on my apartment door welcoming me also. Within the first 24 hours the director, coordinator, nurses, aids , housekeepers & maintenance came to my apartment & welcomed me in person. All through my stay I was kept busy/entertained (as much as I wanted). Everyone working at Heartlands seemed to really enjoy their jobs & this was evident to the residents. If at anytime I needed something special - the staff would do all to make it happen. I particularly appreciated how the staff ensured that the residents were friendly with each other & there weren't any cliques. I truly enjoyed my stay at Heartlands & was sorry I had to return to my home state.

The forum is a close knit lovely community. They truly know their residents! The facilities are warm and inviting, we trust them to care for our loved one!

We have been in Five Stars for a month. Our experience has been amazing! We really like this place. Everyone has been so welcoming and supportive! Outstanding place. Everyone including the housekeeping! The best place!

[name removed] was extremely helpful in giving me information for the family of [name removed]. She was a joy to work with! The family was then able to make the best decision as to where their mother needed to be placed. [name removed]is living there now and is enjoying the care she is receiving.

5s down the line. We are very happy. Food is good. Emergency response is on point 3-4 times my dad fell and couldn't get up and was not wearing his life alert necklace but a neighbor heard him and 911 was summoned. Clean. Good activities (movie night, chorus, happy hour). Also, let me say Place for Mom Staff are awesome! My initial convo with a PFM staffer/volunteer is how I found Five Star and the place worked out great. Thank you for all you do!!!!

I would just have loved to have known what the application process entailed ahead of time because they only gave us a few days to compile all the records they ask for & some of that required a doctor’s appointment for signatures, etc. The studio is nice and big enough for his living room area & queen bed behind it.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Everybody on staff from the front desk to the hands-on people that deal with my father, very friendly, very accommodating and very informative. When I needed information about transportation for the resident, I got immediate feedback along with a schedule and the form to fill out, I mean, it was overwhelmingly a great experience. Before my father moved in, they were very friendly, kind and responsive. After he moved in, they still remained very friendly responsive to request, kind and absolutely so accommodating. It is a lovely place to live and visit. They took very good care of my father I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to someone. They respond immediately whether it's by phone or by email. My father moved from the independent side to the assisted living side with no glitch, hiccup or problem. I cannot say enough about the staff and the administration at Heartlands Ellicott City. It is an amazing place for your elderly parent to live out the last days of their Life. My father had a lot of fun with the activities and the socialization, and the food was good and there was always plenty of it. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to move my father into Heartlands Ellicott City.

Overlook Green is a very nice place. The staff are very nice & take good care of my brother. Very clean & very friendly staff. Provides good meals & activities for residents. Really caring staff. Good place.

Somerford House is a wonderful place for any loved one. My mother was a resident for 1-1/2 years and she couldn’t have been at a better place. The whole staff is very caring and everyone is treated like they are part of a big family. There is a wide variety of activities available for all residents. They can choose their own meals and the staff puts an unusual amount of effort to make everyone happy. The nursing staff is very caring and diligent. They facility is very clean, safe and well maintained. I highly recommend Somerford House.

5/5 for everything. My father has had an excellent experience at a reasonable price. I'm from out of town so I rely on them heavily to keep me informed. Facility is clean, nursing director fantastic, front office staff very friendly.

I was invited to the monthly free veterans breakfast. I have been three times. The staff is nice and the building looks great. I had chicken, macaroni and cheese, collard greens and a sweet potato pie. I will attend this event every month. The staff makes sure we are feed

I am very pleased with my new home. Fabulous food friendly ,many perks on Dr. visits, church etc. I have even given up my car since coming here. Thanks for the recommendation.

Staff has been very responsive and prompt. Mom had been very impressed with the quality of the food. mom is now calling bingo and running one of the card games in the evening. Mom says she feels like she is home. They told her from the beginning that that is her home now. They even have no problem with me going over and practicing my drum with/for her up in the loft/library area. The only downside is right now they are completely full up with the closure of [facility removed].

Overlook Green is a spacious home for the residents, who really seem to like it there. The staff is helpful and open to visitors. The common room is often populated with people watching television. The dining room is welcoming and cheerful. There are seasonal events at which friends of residents are invited. Religious services are regularly scheduled and attended. The home is very clean and people who live there are very comfortable and happy. It's a good place to reside.
