Five Star Senior Living

I recently moved into the Gardens of Gainesville after seeing 5 others. I never have meet so many welcoming neighbors in one place. The staff is wonderful also. I quickly settle into my new home. It has been a wonderful experience for sure.

The Palms at Saint Lucie West is a fabulous place should you need a place for a loved one. This cozy friendly facility is pleasant and clean with daily activities for all. [name removed] and [name removed] and their team are wonderful. More important the residents who live here are happy. They all look great!

I moved to Park Summit [date removed] into a large 1bdrm 2 full bathroom s laundry room full kitchen and balcony The food is excellent. It is in my opinion a Five Star Property I am still adjusting. Both so far very good Check in with me any time I made a good decision to move here. PARK Summit is a Five Star Community I am still adjusting Food is excellent RESIDENTS AND STAFF ARE EXTREMELY GOOD I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND IT. MOST RESIDENTS ARE MUCH OLDER THAN ME BUT ARE VERY INDEPENDENT

Facility is well maintained. Staff is thoughtful, friendly, and helpful. I would highly recommend The Forum.

Park Place was so easy to work with. From initial contact to moving in was less than 2 weeks. [name removed] was there every step of the way. I live out of state so most of the details were handled with phone calls and emails. She had answers for questions I hadn’t even asked yet. You can tell she loves her job and the residents. Working with her could not have been easier. The rest of the staff was just as easy to work with were willing and able to meet our needs as well. We personally met everyone from the director to the maintenance staff. One young lady came in early to help on final clean up of the apartment. She works at the front desk but did this on her own. Many of the residents introduced themselves as we toured the facility and while moving in. Most importantly my mother loves it there. Thank you.

My sister-in-law seems to be flourishing at 5Star at Banta Point. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. The entire staff from the cleaning lady to the Assiatant Director. They get to know their residents and their needs. It is small enough to be able to allow their staff to get to know them all. The activities director, whom unfortunately, left recently, was wonderful. We are looking forward to her replacement. The food is excellent. I have not heard one complaint about it. Breakfast and Lunch are a little close together but besides that, I have not heard anything negative. The facility is bright and cheerful. It smells clean. This is a big plus. We have been missing a few pieces of laundry but nothing major. We so appreciate their help and cooperation.

The Court at Palm Aire is a fantastic senior living community! The staff are caring, the atmosphere is welcoming, and there are great activities for residents. It truly feels like home.

After touring and talking to the staff at Somerford, I made this my first choice for my mother. I made the right choice. My mom is adapting well and the staff are kind, caring, always knowledgeable about my mother’s needs and progress.

I had been given 2 weeks to find a place for my sister after being advised she needed more than just assissted care. I got advice and names of places from an on line place "A Place for Mom". They gave me Tiffany Court as one of those choices. As soon as I walked into the "memory unit" and saw [name removed], the head of the unit, engaging the people with a talk about a young man on his journey on the Appalachain Trail; I knew this was going to be the right place. They have been so kind and caring. It amazes me .

The facility is really clean, the staff are upbeat and so friendly and the room is more than we could have asked for. Plenty of activities that take place in the “living room” and the art room. A beautiful screened porch and closed courtyard,. Landscaped beautifully. Bus trips to different stores and even restaurants. Field trips to interesting places. I am so happy I chose this place for my Mom. The medical staff are very attentive. I have not worried about my mom for 1 minute since she moved it. The dining room is very nice and the meals are balanced. They even have another menu if you don’t want what’s for dinner. I would recommend this place.

I would rate all of the categories a 5 it is very clean, friendly staff, many activities, care good we are satisfied. Our loved one is in a single room with private bathroom single bed chest of drawers nightstand he has his own TV many crafts, games, bingo of course, holiday themed parties, other activities including family members to join. Just had Kentucky Derby watch party hats and all! Also bring in entertainment like singers.

. My dad is very happy there. My dad says the food is so good. The maintainance is a little slow getting to things but things do get done. My dad is not a real social guy but it's good to know that he can join in any of them .

The thing that I find most endearing is the family atmosphere. We feel like a big family and love each other accordingly. We enjoy our flower gardens and the fellowship we have when tending them. We enjoy our birds and we especially enjoy each other. We now have our own minister with worship services each Sunday. The staff here are very bonded with us and provide as if we're family to them. We have lots of fun activities of which my favorite is musicians who come to entertain. Many of the residents dance to the music. While others just sit back and enjoy, we have bingo, exercise classes, trivia and go on outings to the grocery.

Mom and dad said they loved the apartment, the neighbors were friendly, the staff was so kind, and the cost was reasonable. However, my dad has digestive issues and is on a very strict diet. They discussed dietary issues with them before they moved in and were assured it would not be a problem. But many times there was nothing on the menu he could eat. There was also a very tight window for mealtime and if you weren't there, you missed it. Coordinating doctors' appointments and errands around mealtime became a real issue. The other big problem was that the fire alarms would randomly go off for no apparent reason, sometimes multiple times per night, and would go on and on and on and on. One night the staff even came into their apartment, right into their bedroom where they were sleeping and there was no fire, no smoke, no nothing, just an alarm going off. They never did find a cause. My parents finally just rented a house in town. I loved having them there. From my perspective, a 5. However, it was not sustainable for them and they only stayed 4 or 5 months, so from their perspective, a 2 for an overall experience

Staff is friendly. Seems very clean. Meals are good. Could provide more activities. The balloon volleyball is great, and bingo is great. A few more things like that would be good. Things that are easy to do and don't require a lot of learning. The Tuesday outings are also great. Lovely community with considerate staff in an environment which continually adapts and improves to meet the needs of its resident

My mother-in-law is there in senior living, but she has dementia. But not bad enough to move to memory care. So she tells me that there were supposed to be scheduled and then when she goes, no one is ever there. So I can't 100% say that's true. But they do need to have more planned activities. The front desk staff is usually very polite and accommodating Again, my mother-in-law has dementia so she has a few more needs than just a regular person living and senior living. But they insist she's not quite ready to go to memory care. So the fact that they're willing to keep a closer eye on her and notify me if things seem wrong, it's much appreciated.

This is a decent facility. Good food and great housekeeping here. The front office is very personable and friendly and willing to help with things.

I love how friendly and helpful the staff is. They have so many activities to keep everyone engaged. The food selection is also great. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

My mom was in the memory care area. The staff was very caring and friendly. The facility was clean and well maintained. The food was very good (except the veggie burgers). I would recommend this facility to anyone. I feel like my mom was treated very well at [community removed].

The facility is immaculate. Staff know who I am and call my mom by name. There are activities daily in the lobby. Most times when I go to visit, there are snack and entertainment happening. Rio makes announcements regularly, so everyone is aware of what is happening. My mom is [age removed]and has memory issues. They give her all the help needed and check on her regularly.
