Five Star Senior Living

We chose Five Star Residences because it just felt homier. She had some acquaintances as well and the price was in our budget. One thing that has been an issue is the coordination between IU health, 5 star, and the medication provider. It has taken an awful lot of back and forth to keep her medical care coordinated. A lot of balls have been dropped but things seem to be improving. The staff are more than willing to work with you through everything and have been really quick to help us. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

Our first impression and what we noticed right away was the people there. The staff members and even the residents are very friendly and have a desire to help. Even though our loved one does not choose to participate in the activities they do have plenty to offer during the day.

During our tour, Tiffany Court did not give near enough of the information that we were looking for. The facility was also located too far from family.

Tuscany Villa is a happy helpful facility. The staff is very nice.

This community was just not right for my loved one. They had a higher skill level and the ambiance was not what I was looking for. The food was good but the rooms we looked at were not what we were looking for for our loved one.

I like the facility and have had no problem with my stay here.

I would tell others this has been a positive experience for us so. far. The staff have been responsive to any questions or concerns I have had.

This community is pretty pricey. The staff are very friendly, the community is very nice. I feel that my loved one if fairly well taken care of. They have activities like bingo and more for the residents to do to stay busy.

The staff members were very friendly, it was a great atmosphere and even during the time of covid they were very attentive to our loved ones needs. They always kept an eye on her, answered all questions, fixed any repairs and always encouraged her to get involved in activities.

Calusa Harbour is a very large community. It is busy and there is a wide variety of people and things going on at all times. The decor was older and we did not get a homey feel from the facility. My parents are small town, so this was not the right fit for them.

The staff members are very friendly, the meals and dining service is excellent, and our loved ones are kept very busy with the activities. We do consider the value for cost to be pretty good.

Our tour at The Forum at the Woodlands was okay. It was just very expensive compared to the place we ended up choosing.

Neither my husband nor I were comfortable with his residence. No phone in the room and very bad Wi-Fi. Yes, we were told in advance. He only stayed a month and is now home.

We had a nice tour at The Forum at the Woodlands. It was a beautiful setting, surrounded by trees. The staff was nice. I just didn't notice very much activity there.

Our family had an in person tour and we liked the community the tour was nice, but we did not like how the memory care building was in the same area as the assisted living.

We chose Five Star Residences because of the convenient location, at the time they were having a move in special, and it came recommended to us. I think that the rooms are a good size, they were pretty comparable to others that we saw. She has a really nice size closet and bathroom, but I do wish the kitchen was a bit bigger. I look at the activities schedule every month and they seem to have a lot going on for the residents who want to participate. I would recommend to others who are looking as long as you can advocate for your loved one.

They have a lot of activities going on and our first impression right on the bat was just how friendly the staff and residents are.

Stratford Court of Palm Harbor was very nice, and our second choice. The staff was very nice, and the facility was very nice. The reason why we chose another place is the décor at Stratford Court was just too dark. The place we chose was more open, bright, and airy.

A lot of the people in the community were a lot older. Other than that the food is wonderful the community is wonderful and the personnel is wonderful . We are just the youngest here and thought there would be more younger people.
