short staffed. Executive Director does not respond to messages. care in Assisted Living is terrible. I once fell and pressed the emergency alarm button around my neck. No one cam for almost an hour. Grounds are filthy. Food is good.

We picked this community, because of the cost and service. I would recommend to other families. The night crew could better/improved.

Garden's of Gainesville is overall above average and very homey atmosphere. No visiting hours to limit your accessibility to the facility and family members can even stay overnight with their parent which is unusual in my experience with assisted living facilities. The food is about average and good occasionally but better than the other facilities that we've experienced so far. The atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. The amenities are nice in the independent living side and can be used by assisted living residents if they are accompanied by an employee or a family member.

We visited my mother in law for Mother’s Day. Her apartment was dirty and she said that they have had a problem keeping staff for the cleaning services. We also took her to buy meals because much of the time the menus are not things she would eat. For instance Dandelion soup, asparagus, baked fish. I understand that you can’t please everyone but to pay for meals and then buy food for at least three meals a week.

We were told that the break in time for a new resident would be very hands on. It wasn't. We had no interaction or guidance from anyone. The first weekend it didn't seem like anyone was aware that my mother moved in and that Monday she wasn't listed at the front desk as a resident in her assigned room. We were forced to chase anyone down looking for answers, especially about bathing. Terrible response to concerns regarding lack of showers and I was forced to put something in writing to the director. I was told to see the nursing assistant for additional help needed with dressing and getting into bed, but nothing changed after speaking with her. When help was there they were great, but they weren't the administrators or supervisors. I've contemplated moving mom to another facility, but I'm trying to be patient and see how things progress. We have a nanny cam in the room and we see our mother struggle. We have explained what our mother needs help with, but nothing changes. They need to be more responsive. Even without our input, they should know by now that my mother cannot dress herself or get into bed with covers. Right now, I cannot recommend this facility to others until I see some progress or positive change.

We picked this community, because mom liked it alot when we toured and it was reasonably priced.The meals have gone down hill according to my mom. Dishwasher has been broke for a week or more so they are serving meals with paper plates plastic forks and plastic cups. Paying what we are the food and dishwasher thing is crazy. To keep my mom happy I have had to bring her food at times cause she isnt happy with it. Other then that the place us great!!! Items above need attention!

My family and loved one had a good experience with Overlook Green. The community is clean. If you ask them to do something for the person living there it takes them a very long time to do it if they do it at all. We would encourage you to ask lots of questions about the community and care they are able to provide for your loved one.

We toured with Overland Park Place and did not choose them because to me, it just struck me too much like a nursing home/assisted living facility. The people that we interacted with were all very nice though!

If someone is truly independent then Heartlands is fine, I would not recommend subacute- not enough staff, basically a nursing home. When my mom required more assistance I hired a caregiver to have one on one care which was very expensive but gave me peace of mind.

My loved one was severely malnourished and dehydrated when he fell. It is very very difficult to get anyone on the phone in the evening or on weekends. They can improve in the memory care area. They let my loved one not eat for 3 weeks before telling us. My loved one ended up falling and breaking a hip and passed away 2 months later. My other loved one is still there. They have improved with some of the activities and things but it is too late for one of my loved one. I would not recommend them unless you stay on top of everything that goes on.

Legacy Heights is understaffed for the amount of residents that they have and could not properly care for my loved one. She is doing way better where she is now. The sales team was great, however.

I think that memory care needs more than 2 staff members to adequately take care of your loved ones. The food is really bad here. She fell numerous times at Heartlands and we were very concerned about her not being able to call for help- she didn't ever remember to. That is when we asked for cameras so we could monitor her. They said no. I finally said she needs memory care, but memory care is depressing there. They never take them (9) out for the activities in the main side. Not very pleasant to the residents. Overworked.

Everyone is very friendly. Messages left for the director do not get returned. If I have a question about something I have to go there, which I do every 3-4 days. My experience with A Place For Mom was really great, very helpful. My experience with Overlook Green has been mediocre.

I feel they are short staffed. Nice rooms. Beauty salon is convenient. My mom isn't able to use many amenities due to a stroke. I was grateful for A Place for Mom, and Franciscan Manor for placing my Mom so quickly when we needed. Most of the aides are very kind and loving to my mother.

The living space is fine. The building itself needs some updating or work done. They have a gym, hair stylist, and meals. There is breakfast and dinner included in the rent. Lunch is on the resident's own in independent living. There is housekeeping included if the resident would like. There is a full kitchen and washer and dryer in the apartment for the residents to use. The staff communication with the family it is good. The maintenance team communication could be better with the family, and requests could be responsive.

The residents is wonderful, but the management sucks. I have a fully equipped kitchen, but they do offer meals. The food has the most unhealthy menu. They offer activiites, such as; Bingo, church services, movies, and karaoke for assisted living but those of us that live in independent living, are able to join the activities. There is sometimes issues with maintenance following-up with requests.

They have activities, but my loved one does not participate. They have a new administrator, who is making changes. They don't seem to have enough care aides. My loved one is benefiting from the therapy and is making improvements. The food is outstanding, and they have a lot of choices. They can improve with medication tracking. Overall, the building looks great, and is newly remodeled.

We enjoyed the community. However, my loved one enjoyed the residents at another community in the area.

This was a nice community and the staff were great to work with. The community felt a little dark and smaller than what we wanted for our loved one.

Our family had an in person tour and it was a nice tour experience but we knew it was just not the place for our loved one and the community itself was just to far away
