Five Star Senior Living

I rate Hintington Place a five in everything! My parents are both doing well there. The staff has been great. Huntington has exceeded my expectations. Very supportive placement, they been great. Huntingotn Place is an overall great place!

I cannot say enough nice things about this facility. My Mom has lived here about a year and is really happy. The people are friendly, the food is good and the staff is stellar. She enjoys the activities and has made some good friends. She got to keep her car and is encouraged to be as independent as she can be. But if she needs extra help at all it's available. The residents here are more alert and active than most facilities I visited in my search. I highly recommend the Gables for anyone looking.

The people there are kind and compassionate and always treat mom with dignity and respect. She told me she had no heat in her room and reported it to the front desk. They quickly replaced the unit in her room. After a few months and mom settled in, she requested a transfer to a different room due to the constant care her roommate required which was disrupting her sleep several times a night (mom is a very light sleeper). They assured her when a room became available, they would do their best to move her...2 weeks later a room became available and sure enough, they moved her in right away. This speaks volumes to me. I have visited all different times, day and night; she is always dressed, clean and happy! She is settling in well and isn't sleeping all the time like she did when she was living alone. Overlook Green has given me a safe, beautiful home for my mom and I can't thank the staff enough for this.

We're very pleased with how things have turned out at Overlook Green! It's a very nice, clean, well kept facility, and all of the employees have been friendly and professional. We're entirely satisfied!

The staff at Cameron Hall are wonderful! The facility is clean and the food is very good. Activities are provided two times a day for the residence. It is a perfect community for my Dad.

My loved one has been at NSNB for a little under a year now. The adjustment in the beginning was very difficult for all of us, the staff there was so helpful with the transition. I have noticed that a lot has changed at this facility in the past few months. One of the main things that I see is less staff. There seems to be more residents, a lot more being in wheel chairs which to me is uncommon for an assisted living. It almost seems to be turning into a nursing home. I would assume that with more people moving in that they would bring in more staff. It seems to me that there is actually less, but one thing that I can say is that even though there is not many staff members I always see them on the go! I have no idea how they can accomplish what they accomplish there but even with being under staffed they make sure that everyone is taken care of to the best of their ability. Some how still manage to take the time to great me and my other family members when we come to visit. They make me feel as though we are all apart of their family there! There are a few aids there that just go above and beyond, you can tell that that they put there heart and soul into what they do and they take great pride in doing so, so my hat goes off to you! Thank you NSNB staff, Thank you Keisha, Sara, Heather, and Sally for just being god sent angels, and nothing short of amazing!

We are very happy with the move to Savannah Square and I want to thank a Place for Mom for the help and guidance they provided. Our move was only 3 weeks ago so it is hard to be the best judge of all the opportunities we have ahead of us. The food is excellent and enjoy going to the dining room everyday. The people are friendly and have welcomed us to the community.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

It's been terrific so far. We are really happy with it. No major issues or concerns, I would give them a five out of five at this point.

We called and made an appointment, but they had no record of it, but they still provided someone to give us a tour of the facility. We couldn't get all the information at the time though, so someone had to call us back, but other than that, it was good experience.

They offer activities but I can't get my parent to participate in them.

The time finally arrived when both my parents needed to be in assisted living. A family friend recommended Cameron Hall, which made Cameron Hall first on our list. After visiting several other facilities and reviewing the cost and service, it just confirmed our choice. Since moving into Cameron Hall, both of my parents have made wonderful improvements. The consistency in medication, proper meals, and amazing care, just confirms that our family made the right decision. My Mom tells everyone, “It is like being on vacation all the time.” Neither one of them wants to go back to their old home. Cameron Hall is a true blessing.

Things have gone very well with Rio Las Palmas, we're very pleased with the service! I was nervous that my loved one might have trouble settling in due to her memory issues, but she absolutely loves it here! The assisted care they provide is a great fit, they've been very reliable about providing her with the reminders she needs throughout the day. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and they've got a lot of services and amenities to offer the residents. The food is very good, and they have a restaurant style dining setup where the residents can go in any time they like and order whatever is on the menu that day.

They do a wonderful job at Forest Creek Commons! It's a clean, well kept community, and the people all seem very nice. They've got all kinds of activities and amenities they provide for the residents, and I've heard good things about the food! I also really appreciate how easy they made the paperwork and move-in process!

It's actually been good. She seems to like and is getting used to it. I liked the location. It's fairly reasonable, and they offered the therapies we needed. It was the best fit. At first she wasn't participating, and they really encouraged her to join in.

We are thrilled with everything about Heartlands. My mother-in-law moved in a little over a month ago and she is very happy. She says the food is "wonderful" and she is making friends. We have seen a big improvement in her -- she's more alert, getting stronger and able to do more. The staff at Heartlands is outstanding. They are always willing and available to answer questions or help out. On a day when my MIL had an early doctor appt and would have missed breakfast, they made her a box to go so she could eat in the car while I drove her. She has dialysis three times a week during the lunch hour, and the staff makes her a box lunch so she can eat when she gets back. Whatever she needs, they find a way to make it work out. We couldn't be happier and highly recommend Heartlands to anyone looking for assisted living. It doesn't get any better!

I really like this place. It is where my mother lived. My mother-in-law would not be able to afford to live here. We took our own tour of Brookdale Echelon Lake and liked it ok. We are going back there next Saturday at 10:00 to show my mother-in-law.

This is an excellent facility for loved ones ! Our family is thrilled with it and our Mom is happy!

We loved Legacy Heights. It's at the top of our list at the moment. The facility was nee and cheerful and I found the pricing reasonable.

Experienced and welcoming staff. A lot to offer my mom in terms of her self-care. Great food. We chose this facility.
