Five Star Senior Living

My mother is a patient in the rehab. She had to go to an appointment and was very uncomfortable and because of her dementia was being very challenging to manage. The staff in general and one in particular went out of their way to distract and calm her. I was so impressed with their professional and calm care. This has not been an easy time for us but the staff here is making a big difference and they should be commended.

We did enjoy the tour I had. The staff and residents seemed happy. We were offered a complimentary meal. It did taste good and the guide ate and sat with us. She took her time showing us the place and helped us with the financial part to see if we can afford the care.

It has been difficult for my mom to transition to assisted living/dementia care but Somerford has been great and has kept me posted of everything every step of the way.

We used this community for their respite services, everything went very well. They took very good care of my mother and her needs. The community looks great. The staff was kind and caring. We will be using this community again for their respite services.

What a beautiful place. The employees and residents were engaging and smiling. However, it was a bit too opulent for Irene. I don't believe that she would not fit in.

A great place for mom.

This community is very nice and beautifully cared for. The staff seem to have everything under control and organized. It also seem to have activities available. My tour guide was very informative and answered any questions I had. I really liked the apartment layout, it was spacious. I would have chosen this community if my mom was more better.

Everything is working out very well for my mother at this community. She has adjusted very well to it and we are very pleased. The community is pretty well-kept. The staff has been very welcoming and helpful. They are very accommodating and attentive as well. She is trying some new activities, she has many to choose from. She likes the food, and I've tired it and the meals are very nice. They are caring for her very well and I recommend it.

The tour was wonderful, I loved how beautiful the community is. The staff are so friendly and even sent us home with homemade, baked cookies. I noticed they did offer activities in different rooms. It is clean and well-maintained. The only issue we had was the distance from our home. If the community was closer, it would have been better for us.

This is our first experience with a community and The Gables is a great place. My mom is settling in well and the staff are very friendly, accommodating and helpful. She is on a restricted diet so she would say the food was bland. They offer a variety of activities, however she has not yet participated in any of them.

The staff at HeartLands Assisted Living at Serverna Park has been wonderful. They are caring for my sister very well. They have been very accommodating, and communicate very well with me. There are activities available here and there, she likes the food, the community is clean. I would recommend them to anyone.

My mother uses the Respite Care at Morningside. She has nothing but good to say about their care and I agree. The staff was very helpful in getting us checked in and they took wonderful care of my mother.

Our experience with Meadowmere Oak Creek has been a very positive one, so far. It's a clean, well kept facility, and the people here have been very friendly and professional.

My mother has lived here for six weeks and we are so grateful to have found it. She was resistant at first but now seems to be enjoying the social aspects of the activities and the staff. The staff treat the residents like family. They couldn't be nicer. Mom frequently remarks on how good the food is and how much she likes how the lady in the salon does her hair. She has privacy and freedom to join in or not as she pleases. I would recommend this place to anyone. It's first class. The only con is the high price but elder care is not something I would want to look for a bargain on. You get what you pay for.

Mom loves Dogwood Forest! She loves the activities and food and the caregivers. Rooms are cleaned and her laundry is done weekly. They go on outings too! I would definitely recommend Dogwood Forest to anyone who is looking for assisted living for their loved one.

We're to start? For all the people that are considering independent living there is no need to go any further than the Horizon Club! My dad 95 looked at 4 places ,found Lisa the sales agent and the rest of the story is. why and we're was she last year!it has been a delight in every way they really care and just everyone in the place too many names to reach out and say THANK yOU too a perfect 10 to say the lease. They have more activitys and more of everything. :so for all the kids in pa ny mj. This is were mom dad belong and if I can live as long I'll be living here too!! I truly ask if you need to talk to me ask Lisa for my number I will be glad to give you my true insight. As they say sooner or later,I've never been so comfortable having dad living a1000 miles away knowing he has made new friends and I don't have to worry we're what he is doing its a tough and hard decision but I wish I helped my dad find Lisa at horizon club long time ago what a wonderful experience

Overlook Green has, so far, been very nice for mom, but she has only been in there for one week. Her room is spacious and comfortable. She has become blind and is having trouble acclimating, but the staff is being very kind and helpful.

This is a wonderful community, I really like it here. They keep the community extremely clean and housekeeping comes everyday to clean for me. They have a wonderful staff here that is always willing to help you and answer all your questions. There are so many activities for me to choose from. I have made some friends with the other residents there is always someone friendly to talk to. The food is excellent and they allow you to choose what you want to eat kinda like a restaurant. I am loving my time here and would highly recommend this community just make sure you down size a bit these places tend to be a little smaller then what you expected.

This is a five star resort for seniors. It's full of activities, a salon, a store and great food too. They have a great nursing staff. I'd recommend this place to anyone in need of a place for their loved ones.

My father-in-law moved into Dogwood Forest almost two weeks ago and we are so very impressed with the care, attention to detail, and professionalism that the entire staff has shown him and all of us. We know that he is being taken care of, and we have such peace of mind.
