Five Star Senior Living

My interaction with staff at five-star Premier has been good at this point. My father seems to be enjoying his time there although he's not very sociable, he has everything that he needs.My father selected because it was in a familiar neighborhood and gave him more independence than the place he was at.

Our family had an in person tour with The Forum at the Woodlands and it was pretty but [community name removed] was closer together and everything is there and we just liked that better.

My mom is currently a resident at Washington Township Senior Living and her experience has been very good overall. The staff is amazing! The food is mediocre. Housekeeping does a great job. The price is really high and seems to be increasing each month. The other residents are very nice and kind. My mom seems comfortable, I wouldn't say happy, because she wants to go home but physically cannot. The Activities Director does a nice job.

Franciscan is a nice facility. I wish there was more communication with the resident's family and updates on how they are participating & adapting. We picked this community because of the transportation services/location.

The décor in The Forum at the Woodlands community is rather dated. The facility and grounds are nice but the sidewalks are buckled here and there and can be a tripping hazard. Food is wonderful. Overall, my uncle is very happy there and has a nice apartment-perfect for him. Appliances are a little old but work. He is very happy there. Would definitely recommend it

Clean. They are very nice. Supply rides and ensure she makes appointments. Provide entertainment for residents if they choose to participate. I picked rhic community, because it was close to me. Room choice as single room versus multiple patients for same cost elsewhere. Nice clean place.

Five Star Premier Residences is a very good community, the people are friendly, the staff members are good and they offer great activities. Based on the experience I have had so far, I would recommend this community to others.

There was no availability in the other places I called, others had a respite stay of 30 days or they were to expensive.I feel that these assistant living/memory care facilities is just a money game due to the experiences I have had with them in not taking accountability in their actions. They are happy to take your money saying they are only responsible for the residents but not responsible for any personal items missing.( clothing, shoes, blankets, eye glasses)

We toured Riviera Senior Living during our search for an Independent Living facility for our loved ones. This facility was nice! We thought it was really great. However, it was too expensive for my loved ones.

I would definitely recommend Morningside of Auburn for people who are looking for an economical solution and enough activities/outings if residents are able. The administrative staff have been wonderful to work with-responsive, caring, understanding, work to resolve issues. Other staff have been generally good with variability that I have come to learn is quite typical. Most of the workers are very helpful. The housekeeping has been good, but sometimes there needs to be some prompting. Nothing major though. My loved one has not been thrilled with food. There is little, if any, variability for breakfast, which is too early for most residents if they try to go to dining room. Many meals tend to be over cooked. But dining staff have been nice. This is a good facility for residents and family members who will be appropriately assertive, respectful and ask for help. The move in process was easy. Paperwork was relatively easy with small understandable bumps in any transition process of this nature.

We cannot rate the value for cost because we are trying to get the billing straightened out currently. They started with a bill before our loved one initially moved in. However based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend the Huntington Place to other families.

My loved one was a resident at College View Manor for a few years. This facility is very neat and updated. The food was outstanding at first, but declined drastically during Covid. Our only issue was with housekeeping, it could have been better.

The reason why we picked Overland Park Place is because of the price, that was one of the main reasons, it was one of the cheapest we had found. However our loved one is on the basement level which has flooded with a recent storm. I think it has happened a few times in the past but the root of the problem has not been solved yet.

We've had a great experience with this facility and the staff. There was a waiting list, so it took a few months, but was worth the wait in our estimation. The move-in experience was as smooth as can be. Their 'orientation plan' was thorough and well executed. Housekeeping is prompt and thorough (when mom doesn't turn them away, lol). I wish there was a way/service to encourage her participation in activities (after the initial orientation), but that's on mom as it is Independent Living. There are beautiful views in all directions! I would definitely recommend this facility to others.

I can't think of any adverse issues. If there are any they get positively resolved quickly. I'm more than satisfied with my place/room size wise. There are some who decide otherwise after moving in but they either get moved to something they're more happy about or just stay. Amenities are more than sufficient for me as I couldn't attend all of the activities if I wanted to, and the other amenities are plenty bountiful. When I moved into my place, after a day or two I discovered that one of the two A/C units wasn't cooling the room and it sounded noisy. After contacting maintenance, it was almost immediately replaced with a brand new one.

What I like most about the Five Star Residence community is the freedom that I get to enjoy here. What they could improve on would be having more of a variety at meal times and more hot meals for us to eat. Based on the experience I have had so far with the community, I would recommend them to other families

[name removed] gave us a great tour. There was communal dining and my loved one like this community. However, my loved one wasn't ready for assisted living and this was the drawback for us.

My mom is in memory care building, and for several months, they had what seemed to be limited activities. They hired a new staff person who has activities as part of her job, so that has gotten much better. We really like Huntington Place, and I would recommend them to other families that have someone in need of out of home placement.

I think they make an effort to assist the residents and their families. They have answered my questions and helped me get things like arranging meds set up. It's a bit confusing if you've never done it before. Mom is in a one bedroom. The bedroom and living/dining area is nice. The one drawback is the bathroom is a little small. It is very hard to maneuver in a wheelchair. They offer lots of activities each month like exercise classes and scenic trips.

My Mom is currently a resident at Stratford Court and everything has been good for her at this facility. The staff have been very supportive, helpful and friendly. My mom has found a place to call home and I can't be happier for her. The food is good, they have a nice variety to choose from. My mom loves Stratford Court! I would recommend this facility to family and friends.
