Very happy with mom's care. A few hiccups at first but very pleased with responsiveness of staff to help transition mom. Everyone is extremely friendly and it is a caring "family" type of atmosphere.

They are very organized and attentive to my dads needs. No real improvement needed . Very good at communicating when there are any issues or updates with dad as well. Everything is great at Heartfields

They have had changes with the food, and they have a new chef. The value for the money is good, and it serves our needs. We picked this community, because of the location, and price point. They go above, and beyond to help my loved one. My loved has a nice view. I would recommend to other families.

I toured this facility and I considered them as an option. However, they did not have a washer/dryer unit in the room which was a requirement of my mom.

Nothing wrong with Tuscany, very clean, smelled good, nice dining areas, room with a balcony, lots of activities but a comment was made that when a resident can't be taken care of any longer they were sent next door to Barrington Terrace. So why would I make my mom move if we could go to Barrington from the get go. I would recommend Tuscany if the potential resident was a little younger. My mom was 95.

The Somerford House is always very clean and the staff members are very friendly and very attentive. The day to day workers that look after our loved one have been great. The overall quality of care is good - but always room for improvement. However the communication with the upper management could be better and their response times could be somewhat quicker.

Overall it has been a pretty decent and positive experience. The grounds are really well kept from what we can see and they are updating the interior of the building.

The nurses/aids basically come in and do their job such as handing out meds or deliver food or assist with shower but are not very talkative or stick around for long to see if there are any issues needing to be addressed. [name removed] sprained her foot while there; she was taken to ER for X-ray to show no break and immediately returned to her room with no bandage, ice/heat, or pain meds to help with swelling or pain. And was made to feel as though she was a burden due to needing extra assistance.

The staff really cares about everyone there. They are fantastic and put 150% effort in especially when you are new to the facility to make sure you are comfortable. I would definitely recommend Tuscany Villas to others.

One thing our loved one likes is that her room is right next to the nurses station which is convenient due to our loved ones vision loss. She really is enjoying the meals they prepared. We have had a couple issues with the miscommunication regarding the level of care but they are working on fixing the issue which we appreciate.

We've had no problems except they just do not have enough help. But the people there are very nice.

So far so good here at this facility. The staff have been really great and my mom likes being here and she has gotten adjusted well. She is participating in activities and meeting people.

Don't take their word for things. Make sure you explore and ask a lot of questions. In the initial interview, we were told that if our loved one wasn't downstairs for breakfast by 10am, then they would reach out out to her to make sure she was okay. But that's not true - they're not doing that. And they're not proactive in encouraging participation is social activities, which their sales person also said they would do. I do love the apartment. It's set up nicely, and I wouldn't mind living there myself. It just seems like my loved on might be more on the verge of Assisted Living vs. Independent. I still think it's one of the better places in the area that we looked into.

Overall we would recommend this community to other families based on our experience. PT and OT was wonderful. The nursing and care staff didn't always have the best communication with each other, and they were not good at all about communicating with us until we had a meeting with administration and them there. I would add that care was ok there...not horrible but not stellar either. Part of the problem might have been low staffing.

We do like the staff members here we do think they are very friendly and do a really good job. According to our loved one the meals need a lot of improvement - the service seems to be okay but the meals a lot of the times come out cold and the daily options they can pick from sometimes are completely out of.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a great experience, their staff team are phenomenal and that was their biggest selling point

The least amount of time you can do a respite stay at Tuscany Villas is a month. It is a great place and [name removed] was lovely. The rooms were great as well. The end result was not what we wanted, but I do not blame that on Tuscany Villas.

They have very good Programs and entertainment for the residents. The facility needs upgraded and better ventilation. We picked this community, because it looked good and was close to my loved ones home.

Good community, we though the fit would be better for our loved one at another community we saw.
